Visited on a quiet wed night.. Loved the atmosphere, creativity and delicious drinks. A must in Cape Town!

artisan mixology brilliance ! well worth it . I found the ambience amazing , decor stunning and even awesome DJ's. Definitely a suit up or shaken not stirred james bond upmarket vibe.

Cool and unusual place. Unique cocktail menu. Kind of like falling down the rabbit hole (in a good way). The whole place and staff all have a speak-easy look about them. Charming spot and highly recommended. Had the truffle fries -- order 3 more!

My husband and I visited Orphanage in Cape Town three times during our one week stay. We went twice for cocktails after dinner, and once for a late afternoon snack and drink. Each time we visited, we had good service from the bar staff and waiters, and we had a nice time.

Inside, the bar has a nice atmosphere, and a dj was spinning at night. Outside has several tables as well for when the weather is nice.

I highly recommend Orphanage for a night out or for good pub food.

Good venue to kick off the evening or end it. Full of interesting characters with common interests...drinking.
