Owner description: The Two Oceans Aquarium is a window into the spectacular oceans surrounding the southern African coast. Through displays ranging from the small and almost fantastical Knysna seahorses, to sea turtles and shoals of shimmering fish, the aquarium holds wondrous discoveries around every corner. Come face-to-face with giant spider crabs and have an adventurous tactile experience at the Touch Pool. Be sure to visit the I&J Ocean Exhibit, with its 9m long window, and 10m long full tunnel. Qualified divers can also make use of the opportunity to dive in this exhibit with shoals of fish and turtles. The Jelly gallery is sure to mesmerize and enthrall.

Every time I visit it seems to we improved. That being said, it seemed smaller than before. Good value for money.

So glad we visited, particularly enjoyed the penguin feeding for the informative talk by the keeper. Lots of Eco information especially for children, a well worth well visit.

Very enjoyable morning activity and right next to the Waterfront. A must if you have kids with a couple of hours to spare. We loved the clown fish exhibit (Nemo rules!!)

Whether you have children or not-find a time to go! We loved learning about the area's marine life.

The main tank is massive and filled with some very weird local fish.

I liked the penguin enclosure. I met them in the wild the next day-so I felt prepared!

Pretty great and informative

A visit to the Two Oceans Aquarium is always worthwhile, but what interested me recently was the new micro-species display, which at first glance didn't seem to be very much more than a table with a microscope and a few jars.
All manner of micro-creatures were found by the assistant, whose enthusiasm was infectious, and the initial reason that we stopped by. With amazing precision, she zoomed the microscope in on tiny crustaceans, the smallest of which were reconstituted shrimp (amazing!) used to feed smaller species of fish, and barely visible starfish which were my top pick - no bigger than a match head but so perfectly intricate! What initially seemed a side display became the event of the day!
