Owner description: The Two Oceans Aquarium is a window into the spectacular oceans surrounding the southern African coast. Through displays ranging from the small and almost fantastical Knysna seahorses, to sea turtles and shoals of shimmering fish, the Aquarium holds wondrous discoveries around every corner. Come face-to-face with giant spider grabs and have an adventurous tactile experience at the Touch Pool. Be sure to visit the I&J Ocean Exhibit, with its 9m long window, and 10m long full tunnel. Qualified divers can also make use of the opportunity to dive in this exhibit with shoals of fish and turtles. The Jelly gallery is sure to mesmerize and enthral.

Plenty to see and if you have kids they will be entertained. Food and drink is available inside as well as the usual gift shop.

Very interesting place to visit. It was good yesterday spending time with kids learning about marine life. I liked the lab/ microscope viewing, penguin, and frog areas!

This is a must visit!!

I took my children here while my husband went to Robben Island. They had a lovely time, seeing the penguins and sharks being fed, getting inside the Nemo tank, looking at sea horses and other brightly coloured fish. There were also some good microscope and touching displays, with informed staff. The cafe and shop are also good, and there are plenty of toilets (it's one of the things you notice when travelling with children!)

Its really nice but not as fun as Shaka Marine in Durban :-) but its walking distance for the residents at V & A so that is lovely

Visiting the Aquarium is a good option when travelling with children. Entrance fees are comparably low and you will be able to see exotic sea fauna (and flora) from close distance. Being there at the right time will allow for watching the feeding of sharks.
