Owner description: The Two Oceans Aquarium is a window into the spectacular oceans surrounding the southern African coast. Through displays ranging from the small and almost fantastical Knysna seahorses, to sea turtles and shoals of shimmering fish, the aquarium holds wondrous discoveries around every corner. Come face-to-face with giant spider crabs and have an adventurous tactile experience at the Touch Pool. Be sure to visit the I&J Ocean Exhibit, with its 9m long window, and 10m long full tunnel. Qualified divers can also make use of the opportunity to dive in this exhibit with shoals of fish and turtles. The Jelly gallery is sure to mesmerize and enthrall.

A rainy day meant a change in plans, so we opted for the aquarium. Lots of mums n strollers, but there is something for everyone. The variety of thriving sea life in big, easy to see display areas was a pleasant surprise. The tank of Nemos was hilarious. Giant Spider Crabs, lots of Jellies, huge moray eel, abundant corals and sharks were a hit with our teens. Educational too. This is a good option if you need a filler for a couple of hours.

Good fun. Maybe a bit similar to all other aquariums I've visited but what do you expect! There were penguins as well so that was a bonus :) Spent the majority of the time in the penguin enclosure. There are a few interactive bits and bobs all the way around so great for the kids.

My husband and I spent a Saturday morning at the Two Oceans Aquarium and it was really great! From beginning to end we were entertained and educated. The displays are masterfully put together and some are truly astonishing ... those huge crabs ...The only thing that was a bit annoying was all the push prams. Of course it's to be expected that a place like this will be FULL of little children (be warned, if this is a problem for you!), but the prams take up a lot of space and sometimes you've got to squeeze through to a display area. Nothing aggressive though. Just a bit cramped, but again, to be expected on a Saturday morning.
If you've got little children, this is THE place to take them. Many of the displays are geared toward children - they've even got a play/craft area and a puppet show, which was very cute.

All in all, a fabulous, fascinating, entertaining morning - we got AMAZING photos here.

Although the aquarium looks quite small from the outside, they do have lots of things to see and do inside. The "predator" tank is especially mesmerizing. You'll find that you can sit and watch the fish, sharks, rays and turtle swimming past for a long time before getting bored.
Check out the frogs, the penguins and several other informative and well-organized display areas, too.
There's something here for the children in us all - Enjoy it.
Plus, as it is situated in the waterfront area, there are also plenty of places nearby to eat, shop or generally browse away your time.
