Owner description: The Two Oceans Aquarium is a window into the spectacular oceans surrounding the southern African coast. Through displays ranging from the small and almost fantastical Knysna seahorses, to sea turtles and shoals of shimmering fish, the aquarium holds wondrous discoveries around every corner. Come face-to-face with giant spider crabs and have an adventurous tactile experience at the Touch Pool. Be sure to visit the I&J Ocean Exhibit, with its 9m long window, and 10m long full tunnel. Qualified divers can also make use of the opportunity to dive in this exhibit with shoals of fish and turtles. The Jelly gallery is sure to mesmerize and enthrall.

Ok I may be a bit old for this but you must do the aquarium, viewing of the large sea water and kelp tanks with huge shoals of immaculate very large sharks and fish is very I motive and thought provoking. Lots of colourful exhibits to enjoy also and of course "Penguin Feeding"
After the visit go for a iced coffee in the cafe, very high quality and the outside deck has lovely views .
Cheap and fascinating .

Believe it or not we had a client meeting after hours in their conference venue and it was unique in that our clients were able to amble around the venue which we had all to ourselves. The aquarium in itself is the best in Africa, in my opinion.

The Aquarium at the Waterfront is a joy to behold. Quite the best I have ever been to. All the exhibits are crystal clear and the marine life is obviously well cared for. What an enormous collection and all so very interesting. Was a bit concerned that flash photography was allowed - it hurt our eyes let alone the fish's. Definitely recommend and don't miss the feeding times - fascinating. It was recommended to us by our super Tour Guides Lisa and Louise at African Trax. Everything they arranged for us was superb and I can't recommend them too highly. They are a two woman band and they deliver a friendly personal service. On our pick up they even took my Grandaughter over the road from the Aquarium to forage for 'precious' stones before driving us to the hotel to pick up our bags and thence onto the airport. Nothing was too much trouble.

The aquarium shows a large variety of fish and other sea creatures, as giant crabs and incredible anemones. Children and adults can learn a lot as also see wonderful sea animals. There is a show in which they feed big fish that is very informative. And they also feed penguins which is a very nice show for kids. And you can take nice pictures there.
My only complain: people working there should be more kind to visitors.
If you get there with the hip on-hip off bus, remember that you have a discount in your entrance ticket to the Aquarium.

The aquarium was average and not nuch to see and do,i would say it was a waste of time and money.

The gift shop was adorable,it had different types of extremly cute plush toys, good for people with children or young cuzins.
