Wonderful views with mountains on one side & sea on the other..
Loads of fishing trawlers around and seafood restaurants...
The weather was really cold being winter in August, so we could not dare go for a swim to beach nearby...

Watch seals in the harbour and fishing boats chugging in and out over a lazy bottle of wine and fine food. Another stop on the tourist bus blue route..........no need to drive.

Mariner's warf restaurant is a gr8 experience and good sea food. make a booking before hand, to prevent waiting too long. The view form the popular lookout point is excellent!

If you want a delicious breakfast on your way to Hout Baby proper, stop at Suikerbossie for fabulous service, food and a view that is breathtaking. Lunches are are great and afternoon tea and scones certainly takes a beating. Also a wonderful venue for weddings etc. Well worth a visit.

Very nice bay and example of fisherman port, also fish market. If you are lucky you can see some sea animals in the bay port.
