Try not to go at the end of the day. There is a lot to read and absorb and I probably didn't give it the full attention I should have.

Tells the Story good. Not all exhibits interesting.
Plenty time required; min 2 hours. Many Long texts

This small museum tells the story of District 6 in Cape Town. The set up is nice and easy to follow, it is pretty cheap to get in and you get a real history lesson. They could use A/C though on hot days. I was sweating seriously in there. Makes contemplation pretty difficult.

A moving, educational museum, an excellent complement to a tour of Robben Island.
One of the residents of district, Noor Ebrahim, may be on hand to autograph a copy of his book.

This is an excellent venue to learn about the impact of Apartheid on the African people. Allow at least 2 hours. We only had one hour there as part of our organized tour and I would have liked to spend more time reading information and studying the exhibits.
