Owner description: This street has always been Cape Town’s main street, from its earliest days as an elegant shady walkway to its present dense throng of storefronts.

Adderley Street is alive and full of bliss - flowers - shops - feel the vibe of the city when walking down (or up) Adderley Street - especially Christmas time when the lights are on - what a spectacular view - one of its kind

Unless I'm missing something - this is just a street with shops etc…? Not sure what's to be rated to be honest.

This was the original road to the sea before the foreshore was reclaimed just after World War Two.All the important buildings of Capetown are/were on Adderley Street and some of the older gracious buildings remain. However, there has been an insidious introduction of cheap and nasty shops operating where the better shops close down. Furthermore, the informal trading sites on the street whils adding to the 'africanness' of the city are often dirty and repetitive. The special C.B.D. cameras have curtailed the beggars but one still needs ones wits as in every African city.

Completey overrrated. Why walk in a street where you can be mugged? Beggars harrasing you. Drug sellers? Even the famous flower sellers has now been hidden away.. Pity
