This hotel is great. It is charming (classic beautiful and clean property), and most of all - the staff is extremely nice and generous. They helped us in any way they could (they even compared taxi prices for us). The location is great - around 5 or more good restaurants are in the same block and bukaap is right across the corner. Rooms are great, especially the bathrooms. The breakfast is ok. It has the quality of the Hilton, but the style of a chic boutique hotel.

We loved this hotel! Rooms are spacious and very much furnished in a boutique style (we had 2 rooms for our family and had a peek in every room that was unused, so it was clear that every room is different). Showers were powerful!

Breakfasts are really delicious, a combination of buffet and ordered hot plate with a great range of offerings. On two mornings we went out really early and they prepared us bagged-up breakfasts and coffees, which we really appreciated.
We had one luxury and one standard room and to be honest there wasn't that much difference - both were lovely. The two-bed apartment wasn't available when we booked, but having looked at, it I would also recommend that!.

Best of all about this hotel is the staff. They were really helpful and friendly, and really seemed to care about the place and the satisfaction of guests. It is a small hotel, so perhaps it's easier to see personal service, but even so we were all really impressed. We had a small misunderstanding about a maintenance issue involving our safe, and the hotel's response was truly excellent.

My son used the rooftop heated Jacuzzi as the sun set on Table Mountain, and pronounced it "v dot cool". So it must be.

The hotel location is good and (as it is in the CBD) it seemed very safe as there are street wardens everywhere. Plenty of uber-cool coffee shops, bakeries, lunchtime eateries, tapas bars, and restaurants around, too. It was a 10-min taxi to the Waterfront (50Rand).

I would recommend the Cape Heritage for value for money, for its location, and most of all its staff. You won't regret staying here.

Contact me for any specific questions.

Room Tip: 102 is lovely and looks out over Bree St, so no noise from the vibrant courtyard. 101 is also lovel...

My Wife and I recently had our child at Christian Barnard Hospital. During the experience my wife was required to be at the hospital for a week every two hours before our child was released from High Care and if it wasn't for this great Hotel the experience wouldn't have been as awesome as it was.

The staff are friendly and always eager to help, definitely made us feel at home and made the whole experience easy and comfortable.

The Christian Barnard Hospital is just a block away and if you are looking for a home-away from home near the hospital then I recommend The Cape Heritage Hotel...

Again thanks to Anja and her team there for accommodating all our requests.

Kind Regards
Brinn Tomes

We've been at this hotel 3 times now and we still love it ...We like the rooms nicely decorated and very cozy . All the staff are very helpful and nice to deal with . The breakfast in the morning is very good ,enough food for sure. The location is perfect for us ,we like to walk and we were pretty close to a lot of things and restaurants . My 8 y.o. son felt like home over there. If you plan to use this hotel ,and you are a light sleeper make sure your room is away from the courtyard ,sometimes the restaurant there like to play loud music ,other wise it is just perfect . Thanks

Room Tip: Away from the courtyard only 2 rooms there anyway . And ask for the high bed they are very cozy !!

Myself and 5 of my colleagues stayed at Cape Heritage and we were pleasantly surprised. All the rooms are individually decorated and all luxurious and clean. Breakfast was very good and the staff were friendly and helpful. Great location in the city and close to restaurants and clubs.

Room Tip: if you stay over on a friday night the clubs nearby can be loud so request a room in a quieter area...

Everything about the Cape Heritage is delightful - each room with its own elegant décor and furnishings, and all of it feeling like home. The staff could not be nicer or more helpful. A walk through to the cobbled courtyard adjoining takes you to some of the city's best bars and restaurants.
I would say more, but this is a secret gem only recently discovered by me and my friends - I don't want to find it constantly booked up!
Will just say that I stay in many hotels on business and this zoomed to the top of my list.

Delicious breakfast, that had plenty of options for everyone to enjoy. The adorable quaint rooms were perfect for the honeymoon setting. The staff were so friendly and helpful. I would certainly stay here again on my return to Cape Town. Don't hesitate to book. Enjoy the jacuzzi on the roof, what a treat.
