My husband and I started out holiday with a 2 night stay in Cape Town and this guest house was just perfect for us. Arriving around lunchtime after an overnight flight we were made very welcome by the ever helpful Urs who had no complaints about us immediately making full use of the garden and pool until we were energised enough for our Ride & Dine trip for sundown on Table Mountain. Our room was very clean, spacious and tasteful, the breakfasts were fresh and delicious, Urs and Christoph interesting and helpful - and we thank them both very much for such a welcoming stay.

We stayed at Trevoyan for five nights and thoroughly enjoyed it.
Everything was perfect. Urs being very helpful in advising on good restaurants and where to go for sightseeing.
We recommend The Millers Thumb for good food.

We stayed in this guest house simply to be near our friends who were staying in a nearby guesthouse that was full but almost double the price. Ours was wonderful, with an open garden/pool area, a wonderful terrace to drink your own wine while looking at the views. Kitchen had pots and pans etc and although we considered cooking to save money, there were too many nummy nearby restaurants to walk to (Opal and Miller's Thumb were our two and both delicious). The owners were fun and helpful (even offering to drive us to the cable car station during a busy holiday) and went above and beyond helping us get restaurant reservations etc. There's wireless plus a laptop to use if you don't have one. Great breakfast complete with tasty bacon, eggs and the best bread I've had in South Africa! We stayed in an upstairs garden suite which was roomy (even had an additional single bed) but I looked into the normal rooms and they were nice too. You won't regret staying at Trevoyan in the Tamboerskloof area of Cape Town

Perfectly located between city centre and table mountain, with many bars and restaurants in the neighbourhood; elegant house with beautiful patio, swimming pool and a roof terrace overlooking cape town. Large and tastefully furbished rooms. Very good breakfast and service. Swiss owners were extremely helpfull in organising our trip in Cape Town and to the Garden Route.
