I was invited over for dinner with a colleague at the Commodore. The food was terrible, cold and no flavor. We waited for about 30mins for the food and even longer for the drinks. We ordered non-alcoholic cocktails, only to have the first sip and find it had alcohol. Our waitress did not have a clue of the menu, or offer a good service. She was not even aware if the menu was halaal friendly or not. It was extremely disappointing to have been invited to such a luxury hotel and have a bad experience.
On the up side, the cocktails were excellent and the deserts were amazing.
