Super hotel and lovely friendly staff - we thought it couldn't get any better but we were to be surprised and delighted by the standard of all our hotels. Fabulous location a short walk away from the V&A waterfront - very handy. Breakfast good and our room was lovely

Perfectly placed hotel, very close to Water Front area.
Helpful and smiling staff ready to assist you at any time.
Large and clean room, lovely bathroom.
Excellent restaurant and bar, believe that can satisfy any taste.
The room soundproof is suffering so you will hear in and outdoor noise.
Comfortable beds and pillows.
Basic channel collection on TV, empty fridge - no drinks of any sort inside.

Room Tip: Take a room that faces the Table Mountain for nice view, rooms facing the front of the hotel are noi...

Loved this perfectly located hotel so close to the V & A Waterfront area. When we arrived our room only had a double bed although we'd ordered a queen. However, once we let the staff know they made every effort to have us moved into an executive suite with a queen size bed and all the trimmings of a luxury room. We were so impressed. The hotel's buffet breakfast was amazing and the service of the staff second to none. I'd stay here again and certainly recommend to others visiting Cape Town.

The hotel is beautiful and located right around the corner from the Waterfront shopping area- excellent location! Many of the rooms have an amazing view of Table Mountain, it is gorgeous! The staff was superb! Nomsa, the concierge/guest services woman was fabulous and totally made the trip a life changing experience with her excellent recommendations on where to go and what to see! The included breakfast was top notch- definitely recommend it!

Room Tip: Make sure to ask for a room with a view of Table Mountain, you won't regret it!

Stayed for a couple of weeks on business although this is more a tourist hotel with many groups moving in and out during my stay, sometimes at strange times. The soundproofing of the bedroom doors is not great and there could be a lot of noise from down the corridor. It would also help if the bedroom doors closed properly rather than having to be slammed shut.

The hotel is well located within easy walking distance of the Waterfront with its myriad restaurants, shops etc and of the promenade by the sea. You would need a taxi if you wished to go much further. The overall area is pretty safe.

The staff were very friendly and always helpful. However, some of house keeping staff seemed to ignore the hotel's encouragement to guests to protect the environment. More than once I returned from a day's work to find the bedroom window open (as I left it) and the air-conditioning on (which I had left switched off).

As others have commented the buffet breakfast is excellent and a very good way to start the day.

Loved the hotel & staff. Very friendly & helpful. Located close to the harbor & several good restaurant choice. Good breakfast Buffett & as we had to leave early & before the restaurant opening on the last day, they packed a nice breakfast to go. Only two minor knocks. There isn't a good view, but more than offset by the close proximity to the harbor. The second, there was interior construction noise close to our room during the day whence were trying to take much needed naps.probably a temporary thing so we'd stay there again.

Very nice hotel in a good safe location. The service is really good; all the staff are super friendly, pleasant and attentive.

The breakfast buffer is the jewel in the crown; bowls of fresh fruit, yoghurt and the sausages are to die for.

Decent gym and close to the promenade if you fancy a run.
