We had an overnight stay in this hotel on our way to joining a cruise. The hotel is relatively low rise and in a much quieter location than the city centre hotels. The rooms at the front have balconies and sea views. The rooms at the rear have views of the World Cup stadium and Table Mountain. The rooms are pretty standard for a hotel of this quality - the usual en suite facilities, clean and roomy but no wow factor. The hotel restaurant is called Tobago. It overlooks the sea and you can choose to eat inside or al fresco. The outside tables have spectacular sea views and you can hear the waves lapping the shore. The breakfast was good with a wide selection of fresh food and fruit but the hot dishes could have been hotter. The service is friendly and helpful. A nice touch from the hotel is that in the early evening there is a complimentary glass of wine and snacks in the lobby.
