The location is not the most pretty one: popular but safe. Service is good with committed people. Rooms are spacious & clean. Good equipments. Wifi is fine except interruption sometimes. Included breakfast is awesome. Real good value for money.

What gem of a hotel. Very, very clean, in a safe area of cape town, in the city. The staff and management are super friendly, especially Fredia,(spelling May be wrong), also Natasha, super friendly, what pair of nice smiles. The price is good and nothing is too much bother.
The only negative was they forgot to pick us up from the airport, with no apology, or explanation.
We stayed here 6 nights and return without any hesitation.

I had only 2 days to enjoy the city and the information received from Antonio (General Manager), Ane Marie + Natasha (reception desk) and Enzo (coffee shop), were very important to take advantage of this situation. Thank you guys !!

The hotel is very comfortable with large rooms and always very clean.
Breakfast is a feast of delights!

It is located right in the city center, very close to the Parliament and the Police Department. It is safe to walk around during the day and the Red Line bus stop is only 2 blocks away.

On my next trip to Cape Town, I'll surely stay at the Parliament Hotel again !

Room Tip: Do not miss the opportunity to take a refreshing bath tub!

I stayed at this hotel for one night on quick tour of Cape Town, it is a nice place right in the centre of the city with quick walk to Water Front and a few kms to Table Mountain. It is not that a luxurious place but decent enough for a budget accommodation. It has clean rooms and bathrooms plus toilet though its so compact no much space for your comfort. The personel is friendly especially one old lady who served me during the night...she acted as a mother and made my stay very warm. She assisted with my morning pickup to the airport as well as my dinner. If you are in Cape Town and need a budget accommodation, you can always try this one.

Best attribute of the hotel was the staff. Every at the front desk were very helpful, genuinely interested in hearing about our day's activities, and exchanged hugs when I left. We had made reservations with a travel agent before arriving that we needed to rearrange and the front desk staff made the calls for us and helped ensure we had everything set as we needed. Antonio recommended an excellent jeweler where I was able to buy my favorite memory of the trip - beautiful tanzanite pendant and ring. They called cabs when we needed them. Every restaurant recommendation Antonio provided was excellent. The rooms were good size, simple, but had all the necessities. The shower was a bit small as I kept hitting my elbows on the walls. Everything and everywhere was very clean and tidy. I had no problem with outside noises but was on the 6th floor while my friend stayed on the 1st floor and said the noises from outside were quite loud at night. Very good accommodations for the price. I would definitely stay again if I go back to Cape Town.

Room Tip: rooms on the higher floors are quieter

Of course it's cheap so you can't complain for the value. the rooms are large with large windows and the staff is helpful especially the manager. having said that the hotel is average: the noise level is high from room to room and from the outside, the car park takes ages to go to, the breakfast is so so. all in all, it's an average hotel, you get what you pay for.

Antonio and his staff were a great help when we stayed at the Parliament.
Rooms were spacious and the bed were comfy enough, bathrooms could do with an upgrade but were perfectly adequate for the price we paid.
Location of hotel is pretty central and Long Street and V&A were within walking distance - and if not, the staff were happy to call us a taxi.
Only complaint would be that my breakfast order was wrong every morning and I had to re-order - only minor really !
