“Just Perfect”

14 days of pure luxury! Every request I made was met and the staff were attentive and genuinely helpful! Perfect in every way and I would recommend this fabulous hotel to anybody visiting Cape Town. I was given a car and driver for two days to show me the sights of this beautiful part of Africa. The level of service was un-matched, the menu was extensive and the views from my roof terrace were breat-taking, Wow, what a hotel!

My husband and I had a wonderful trip to Cape Town with my parents and the Table Bay did not disappoint!

The hotel was wonderful. Friendly staff, nicely appointed room and a great location. I also can't reccomend the hotel's breakfast buffet enough. It is a huge spread and you can choose anything and everything to eat.

Our room was very comfortable and had a great view. The hotel is located on the wharf and connected to a mall. It was very easy to walk to restaurants, shops and the double decker pick up point.

My only complaint is that the concierge staff was not very knowledgeable. They pretty much discouraged us from going out at night at all! I found this advice unnecessary in Cape Town. The concierge could provide us with tourist brochures but not much local knowledge. For example we asked for jazz club reccomendation but no one at the concierge desk knew of any. This seemed odd for a city known for their jazz so we did our own research and found a great small jazz club. We learned more from cab drivers and our own research but not much from concierge. This was surprising to us for a hotel of this caliber.

We are fairly well travelled, but I must say that You feel special when you stay at this hotel! Excellent breakfast! Wonderful spread and hospitable, cheerful service. Access straight on to Waterfront and into the Victoria Wharf shopping Centre from the foyer. Lovely weekend!

We spent a wonderful evening at the Table Bay hotel. Our room was on the 5th floor so we had a wonderful view of Table Mountain. So conveniently situated with direct access to the V&A Waterfront.
The staff were courteous, the room was beautifully clean. Lovely Crabtree & Evelyn toiletries.
Wonderful buffet breakfast!

We stayed for a week. The staff is extremely friendly, the included buffet huge and delicious, the rooms comfortable, and the location excellent. For first time visitors to Cape Town I would certainly recommend staying on the waterfront - great safe place to have as your base. The concierge here is wonderful and even though we had done much research, we had them help us fill in some gaps on our trip and they were so helpful. The lobby is incredible and it is also right next to the mall which has everything you could ever need, including great restaurants. It is a 3 minute walk to the ferry for Robben Island, as well as several other smaller attractions. By the end of the week the staff knew our names and treated us like friends. Great place to stay!

Room Tip: We had a mountain and harbor view which was amazing. I'm sure the ocean view would be nice too t...

Hotel is beautiful and is situated righ by the sea and connected to a shopping center.
Rooms have either the sea view or table mountain view depending on which side you are placed.
If you want a nice view, do ask for rooms on a higher level. We were given a lovely room but unfortunately at the second level, all were over looked were the roof tops and just a meer peek of the waters. For the shoppers, the second level is ideal as this connects direcly with the mall!

Butlers, front desk staff are exceptional. They are welcoming, friendly and genuienly helpful. Commendation to Renee and Wesley.

Rooms are huge and beds are comfortable!
Bathrooms are spacious and I like the seperate sections for toileting and showering.
Rose petals are always placed around the room during turn down service and there's compliemtary water. TV guide is thoughtfully turned to the correct page for your ease of reference.

Breakfast was divine! The spreads were awesome! Love the range of fruits, nuts, salads and the thoughtfulness for dibetics- a less sweet secion was provided for them.
Restaurant staff were not impressive however. ONly a few hard workers were seen. There was a male manager that was hands on and working the floor and setting an excellent example. Majority of staff (including other managers) were chatting, leaning agasinst tables and not attentive- noticed tea cups missing from tables, plates not cleared etc
BUt the array of food and beautiful view could possibly serve as a distraction from the bad service.

Overall a great stay!

Room Tip: Rooms on the higher floor assures a better view

We only stayed one night at Table Bay hotel and wished we had stayed more nights. Fabulous location and hotel architecture. We were upgraded to a suite and had a beautiful view over the waterfront. Staff are fantastic and the most amazing buffet breakfast so make sure you have breakfast included. Not sure I have seen so many choices of juices in one selection. Highly recommend the experience.
