Fantastic old world feel hotel. We had a beautiful room overlooking the marina to the front of the hotel. Staff are extremely attentive and nothing is too much bother for them. Checked in to find a bottle of champagne for the honeymooners and some delicious desserts and even a card from the staff wishing us a pleasant honeymoon. Great hotel lovely experience.

Love this hotel. Beautiful spacious rooms, good location-just a short stroll from V & A Waterfront but away from the bustle. Each time returned doorman welcomed is home....great touch. Staff very friendly & professional. Complimentary use of their town car was an added bonus that negated the need for cabs.

This is the very best Hotel in the world, especialy on Cape Town. The staff catering is oustanding, they are there to meet your every need, the rooms are fabulous, large, clean, well equipped, just awesome. I can not say anything negative about this hotel. The food is wonderful, breakfast and dinner, just fabulous in all accounts, room service as well is divine. I really can not express how wonderful our five days were, we will be back that is for sure.

Nice classic hotel (decor and tradition of high tea, etc.) right at the waterfront. Great breakfast buffet selection too. Location at waterside very convenient for going to Robben Island (where Mandela et al were imprisioned) and close to other sights too.

Room Tip: Higher floor facing Table Top obviously ideal but more expensive, don't stay on ground floor on...

Was a wee bit worried that this might be a lovely but soulless hotel. That was the not the case. Great room and views. Superb, friendly staff. The dinner in the Signal Restaurant was of the highest quality. Location on the Waterfront is just perfect. The hotel offer a shuttle service for local attraction and we took advantage of this to go to Camp' Bay. Loved the whole experience.

I did not stay at this hotel but had afternoon tea on several occasions as well as drinks and lunch there and will definitely recommend this hotel. The décor is splendid and you feel transported in a sanctuary of peace as you sit in The Library to enjoy afternoon tea. You can choose the full tea experience with scones, sandwiches and sweet treats along with a pot of fine tea or you can opt for a slice of cake with a cup of tea. They have very courteous staff very attentive to cater to your needs but not too in your face - they allow you plenty of space, privacy and time. It is somewhere I've been alone as well as with some friends and found it to be a pleasant experience each time. I have enjoyed the lunch which I found to be very affordable given the five star grading of the hotel. The food is delicious and portion is just the right amount. In addition to this the location is perfect and gives a great view over the marina. Beautiful and feels like in a dream. The hotel has character and charm.

Spent 4 nights at Cape Grace, and wish I could have stayed longer. We had a beautiful room overlooking the Marina with fantastic views of Table Mountain. The room was very spacious with all the little extras that you would expect from a 5star hotel.
On our first night we ate in the hotel restaurant and had the 'tasting' menu, which was excellent, and the service first rate. The breakfast buffet was one of the best I have come across, very extensive range of food, and all very fresh.
The staff throughout the hotel were very welcoming and could not do enough for us. Nothing was too much trouble. Would definitely stay there again.

Room Tip: overlooking the marina, for the views and quietness
