We were there for 2 nights. Rooms were large comfortable and clean. Great breakfast.
Would recommend it to any one.
Some of the staff were very friendly but others were downright grumpy. Internet was a challenge.
While we had our own car, we weren't offered the free transfers to table mountain etc. like the others have written on trip advisor.
As long as you know where you are going and have set plans, you can't go wrong with this b and b.

During a 2 night visit to Cape Town, I had the pleasure of staying at this property. They offered free airport transfer along with transfers to Table Mountain, the CBD & Waterfront. The room was spacious and comfortable and the staff friendly and accommodating.

At the beginning of February 2012 we spent a week in a spacious 2-bedroom/2-bathroom unit with views.
The apartment came with a kitchen which contained a fridge, full electric cooking range and dinner/glass & table ware, but no cookware. There's also a flat screen TV with a few channels.
Internet was terribly spotty, but with enough patience we managed to pick up wi-fi in our room off and on.
Do not expect any particular luxuries - everything is basic in the apartments, but adequate enough for even a long stay.
The two pools are certainly a bonus and the seemingly popular bar was packed every night during our stay.

The staff is very helpful and with the lovely Shoni at her reception desk, no issue was too much trouble. The shuttle service was a great bonus and the driver Henry our favorite - he was pleasant, polite, engaging, and very knowledgeable - he did not hesitate to lecture us on our request about anything interesting to do with SA during our frequent rides.

In short, this accommodation is highly recommended if you don't expect luxury but can appreciate a no-frills, spacious, clean apartment that's in walking distance to stores and well located at the bottom of Table Mountain, just a short distance from V & A Waterfront and other interesting places.

We certainly hope to come back in due time to this wonderful gem !

We spent a week at the beginning of the New Year in a 2 bedroom unit which was spacious, generously stocked, well-appointed and serviced daily. The hotel is well located and within easy reach of just about every place of interest in Cape Town and its surrounds. Attentive staff made for a very pleasant stay as did the facilities on the premises: sparkling pools, on-site restaurant/bar and hearty breakfast buffets. Room service was also prompt and competent. All-in-all our stay at Best Western Cape Suites was a definite winner on all fronts. The bonus was the complimentary shuttle to various locations in the Mother City and the abundant, safe on-site parking. We will ceratinly makes this "jewel" our regular holiday accommodation. Well done and thank you to the management and staff for making our stay a home-away-from-home experience!

Room Tip: Rooms away from the busy pool areas and the bar, especially at night, will afford one a better night...

We had a very spacious unit with two bedrooms and ensuite bathrooms,Clean and well maintained and good value. A short taxi ride into the city area. We left a folder with some papers behind and the staff were very helpful in forwarding them on to our next accommodation

We stayed in a 3 bedroom suite for 6 nights in January '12. The staff would go out of their way to be very pleasant and helpful and no request was too big. The rooms were very large, kitchen well equipped, and a large lounge with satelitte tv. The complimentary shuttle was also an added bonus in this well-located hotel overlooking Table Mountain.

Room Tip: Room 40 is very well located, poolside, and 3 bedroom with loads of room.

I booked this accommodation at the last minute as I was turned off by some of the reviews but had run out of options.
Am I glad that happened! What a great accommodation and so spacious too. It is in the city centre and very close to all the tourist places. They have two swimming pools, kids play area and bbq area too. My two toddlers enjoyed themselves to bits! Our rooms were huge, patio was huge, kitchen well equipped,tv had great selection of channels. There was really nothing we could fault with the room itself. Only bad thing really was it took ages to get checked in as the hotel has difficulty with guests wanting to overstay. Guess they were enjoying it too much as well. We just sat at the pool and had lovely welcome drink from reception while we waited for the final cleaning of our accommodations. I would defnitely recommend this place. Great staff too that are very helpful.
