Went by 6 Spin Street because I remembered it as the IDASA headquarters. Found that there was an art exhibit going on, and went inside. I did see coffee and very yummy looking muffins while I browsed and bought a great photographic from their Nelson Mandela exhibit. It turns out the owner used to run one of my favorite restaurants in Cape Town, the now closed Rosenhof on Kloof Street. I'm not 100% sure if it is now both a restaurant and gallery, but in either case it is worth a visit. They participate in the First Thursdays art event in the Cape Town CBD, so you could include it in your rounds on that evening. If you go to the restaurant Facebook page, you'll find info on the current exhibit. A nice surprise in the revitalization of Church Square.
