Just enjoyed a most enjoyable lunch at the pot luck club. Great views, relaxed atmosphere, attentive and informed service and exceptional food. Highlights were the fried calamari, turmeric and ginger dressing with fresh leek and chilli salad; char grilled prawns with Tom ka gai butter, roasted peanuts; chris a olives red pepper pesto and wonderful artisan bread; 5 spice glazed pork belly with cured apple; smoked beef fillet with black pepper and truffle cafe au lait; baby potato wedges with smoked paprika salt. Only the pear and almond tart slightly disappointed (being rather dry) but the pop corn ice cream was exemplary. An absolute must visit when in Cape Town.

This is definitely one of the best venues of a Restaurant in Cape Town. From the restaurant you can enjoy a magnificent view of Cape Town - Table Mountain on the one side and harbour and ocean on the other.
It truly is an experience to dine at this restaurant. Let yourself be guided by your very knowledgeable waitering staff. They will explain how the menu works. This will ensure that you enjoy the experience.
The prices are a little steep however this is a special experience and you need to take in the different flavours of each dish.
The restaurant offers two seatings. If you are wanting to make an evening out of it and just chill and not worry abut any time restraints I suggest you book the second seating at 2030.

I have visited this restaurant on 3 occasions and overall the quality and taste of the food is superb! The management and staff are great. Allow yourself to be guided by the staff as this way the experience does end up better than if you try and stick with the tried-and-tested.
The only negative is that the wine list is excessively priced and the offering is extremely limited when it comes to wines under R250 a bottle.

ever been to a big city like Tokyo or Hong Kong where is common to eat on a high floor with stunning view? If you are in Cape Town and want to try the experience this restaurants is perfect for the thrill. And the food won't disappoint. A menu just right, not too long but not too minimal.
The interior is also cool and the kitchen is open and fun to watch. I went for lunch on a sunny day, very special

Wow is the one word to describe this place. The food is served tapas style which is exactly how my wife and I enjoy to eat. The restaurant is on top of a cool building which appears to be a revitalized area of Cape Town. We went on a Saturday night and the buzz, atmosphere was young with high energy. What to wear is always a question for us....you can wear anything from casual to business. It seemed to be a place where nice designer jeans/designer shoes and a "going out" shirt worked perfectly. No need for a sport coat, but wouldn't go in sandals and a t-shirt either.

Our reservations made by our hotel were honored immediately and we were sat without any wait! A very pleasant surprise as compared to many restaurants that are this busy.

Our service was very good as the waitress handled our orders and drinks and food was brought by runners promptly from the kitchen. We ordered in three waves....Round 1, Round 2 and dessert. This was perfect and they did a great job of not brining out all dishes at one time.

Our favorite dishes included the spring rolls, potato wedges, filet in cappuccino/truffle infused sauce and the dessert with ice cream and popcorn! This is the kind of place that is a "can't miss" on a trip to Cape Town. We consider ourselves foodies who make it a hobby of dining and wine and would put this restaurant in our top-10 of all time!!
