This Hotle offers a really great breakfast. Wide selections so you can eat as much as you like . Only draw backs are there's no free parking and that's limited. So book parking before hand. And not all rooms have free Internet. Top roof bar is great for having a meal or a drink nice open view . Pity the roof pool is small. Not for family's , but I can say the staff where very helpful and reception very good.

This hotel is perfectly acceptable. I stayed here on a business trip for a week. The rooms are clean, the beds are comfortable, (most of) the staff are friendly, the location is very central, it represents good value. It's just that a number of small things are annoying and add up to the feeling that you can do better elsewhere, as indeed I did when I stayed in Cape Town the next time I was there. Things like:

Staff knocking on your door everyday to hand you a complimentary bottle of water. This happened everyday, always when I was in the room after a day out and twice got me out of bed. Why not just leave it there when you clean the room? When I asked I was told 'it's not like you had to pay for it'.

Internet - R150 a day for a poor wireless connection, which is high. It's a bugbear of mine, it's 2012, surely internet access should be free (i.e. part of the room rate you're paying, like the aircon and TV) and many hotels now offer it. I'm told internet is free if you upgrade to a better room.

The hotel advertises a pool and a gym - the pool is hot-tub-sized and situated in the rooftop restaurant. It is simply a decorative feature and no one swims in it. The gym is miniscule and stuffy.

The food is average, especially the selection of the breakfast spread and the room service menu.

The hotel seems to cater for large groups, which means the small lobby area is invariably crammed with people.

It's also strange that the standard rooms on the street side of the hotel have lovely views of table mountain, but the better rooms on the other side have ugly views of the buildings across the street.

Small things. but they add up.

Room Tip: Rooms on the street side have the nice views of table mountain.

The staff was very helpful throughout the hotel. Particular friendly and helpful were Edward and his colleagues on the rooftop terrace who made us feel welcome and home every day of our stay. We stayed for two weeks and at no point did we encounter any problems. Everybody in the hotel had good knowledge about the town and was willing to give suggestions for sightseeing as it was our first time in Cape Town. Thanks to all of you.

It happened that almost year I enjoyed to witness the opening of this hotel as I was among the firsts if not the first. Trust me back then it was much better!!!

Don't let me started about the integrity of their staff, I came to take money hidden well inside some documents found in a pouch placed in my laptop bag; that when I opened the pouch I instantly noted that the money is not in its usual place (hidden inside the documents) but rather outside; after checking and double checking it turned out that it was missing USD1,000, all what they could say about it after supposedly investigating and having a polyograph test to their staff , in a diplomatic way, "no one forced you not to keep your valuables in the safe".

It looks like the house keeping ladies have only been taught to change the sheets and remove the garbage, a cup of tea that I used stayed where I placed it for around three days and the second usage of the replaced cup remained there till the end of my stay. Bedside tables, center tables and the workstation hardly ever wiped, If i ran my finger on them you would spot the line cutting through. To my surprise when I came back to collect my bags for checkout, a damp white piece of cloth was resting on my bag, and the cup was still not removed.

From the first day I checked in till the day of checkout the Video On Demand System didn't work, and all what they can say was: "our IT will have it fixed by tomorrow" and it never was, and my bill showed the cost of the video that didn't play!!!

The only thing that was ever good at this hotel was the reception staff notably Kerry and Shanice, two very helpful ladies that will go the extra mile, not to forget the night shift manager Alessandro who can do miracles on his own running this place at the same time acting as the bar man, the reception, the manager and still manage to assist in all queries

Recently renovated into the Park Inn hotel this is a nice clean hotel within walking distance of the waterfront and close to the central business district.
All the standard rooms are pretty tiny compared to other hotels in town. Small breakfast buffet but all well presented and nicely prepared.
On the whole its a good backup hotel if my preferred options are full.
I moved rooms after the first night as my first room was directly under the waterfall for the rooftop plunge pool and the background noise was frustrating when trying to get to sleep. I'd avoid rooms on the top floor for that reason.

Really nice hotel in the Radisson chain.

Park Inn is placed “bellow” the Radisson Blue hotels in the matter of standard within the Radisson chain. My impression after visiting Park Inn Cape Town Foreshore hotel is that this hotel by far can compete with the larger brother and sisters.

I liked the rooms, the restaurant and the fantastic view from the top restaurant/bar and not to forget the fantastic service the hotel staff is providing.
Their smiles, their attitude are something Radisson really should adopt within their chain. (Read my review of Radisson Blue, Rome visited some weeks ago.)

Great location if your visit is combined with a convention at the CTICC witch is just 3 minutes’ walk away from the hotel. Waterfront is also within walking distance but I rather recommend you to take a taxi if going there.

The only thing holding me up for giving full score is that the minibar isn’t filled up before you request it. After a long travel there is very nice to grab something cold out of the bar immediate without having to order and wait.

I recommend you to stay at this hotel while visiting the fantastic city of Cape Town.

Enjoy jour stay 

Room Tip: Order the business friendly room as this category has internet is included and it’s also have coffee...
