This hotel has been in business for many years and keeps re-inventing itself. Great value for a business trip, very good location although I would hesitate to walk around alone after hours (like many other locations in Cape Town). Breakfast is excellent, the staff is very friendly and helpful but the rooms aren't huge and the bathrooms are very small though well appointed. Greenmarket Square can be noisy in the very early hours of the morning especially if you are on one of the lower floors, so keep windows closed.

I was attending a conference and wanted to be near the convention centre. I stayed for 4 nights. I was most impressed with the service from the staff, their helpfulness and friendliness. My room whilst it did not have a view of Table Mountain was very spacious and modern. The roof top bar was amazing and a wonderful spot to relax after a busy day at the conference. The drivers of the shuttle cars were most obliging and prompt and as a solo woman traveller this was a fantastic perk. I would definitly recommend this hotel and hope to return one day.

Met and exceeded all expectations. Staff very helpful, would definitely go back. For argus cyclists it's ideal, as room size is generous , breakfast was delicious with smoothie and healthy options, and you are right on adderley street.

I arrived from the airport and the reception area is so small, I was like almost queing at the door. waiting to check in as it was quite full that day as we were approaching the weekend. We eventually checked in, my room was on the 3rd floor and it was next to the lift, (wasnt pleased with that) the hotel was completely booked out for that night so we couldnt change the room, staying nextdoor to the lift was so noisy , you have people coming in and out at any give time. My room was dusty, the furniture wasnt cleaned propery, to my dismay I had dropped something on the floor and as I looked under the bed, seemed as if it wasnt vacuumed for days! while i was asleep at 7am, you can hear other people showering, as if there drains are next to your ears! The rooms are designed very silly in that case, not to forget the R50 per day parking fee which is unnecessary because you paying so much to stay there it should be included. The hotels location is ideal, and they offer a shuttle service within 5km which was prompt an efficient. Staff were delayed in returning to calls I made from my room (about the dust etc) The Buffet breakfast room is tiny aswell, would recommend you get yourself up early to go down for breakfast otherwise you will get the seats in the crowded restuarant which no one needs early in the morning.

I stayed one night on business. This hotel was clean and good quality. I did not expect such a nice hotel. In addition, the hotel was at the city center which connects everywhere I wanted. I enjoyed staying there and I would recommend to stay.

This newish hotel is very clean and reasonably stylish. I had asked for a mountain view and was given a spectacular view. BUT the room was quite small and on most days when I got back to the room - it hadn't been made up. I called to ask when the staff would do it and was told that the room is only done after 12. Also take your own shampoo and conditioner - I stayed for 4 nights and asked on my first day for some conditioner an it only arrived on my final evening. It is a great business hotel if you are attending a conference - and less expensive than others close by. Also the breakfast is very generous and has a huge offering. It is a potentially great hotel - but lacks the bells and whistles, the small service things that make the stay worthwhile!
