“Jazz was a fabulous little tour!”
Reviewed July 14, 2014

Ive been meaning to write this review for months. We did their Jazz tour and it was a great way to experience the music of Capetown which we likely would not have found on our own. We had dinner with Hilton Schilder in his home and then we went from there to the Mahogany Room to hear Herbie Tsoalie. It was a great way to connect with the jazz scene in Capetown and I particularly liked having such a warm, personal interaction with Hilton. Coffeebean Routes made this all so easy.

“Exceptionally interesting tours”
Reviewed May 28, 2014

We really enjoyed both the Revolution Route and the Township Futures tours during our recent trip to Cape Town.

Both Michael and Gael were great. Gael was extremely knowledgeable about the political history of South Africa and explained it in a very clear way. As she is also part of the story it was very interesting to hear what she had been through and where things are now.
Michael was more than your average tour guide. He was just great. A very intelligent young man with a brilliant outlook on life. Also extremely interesting places he took us too in the townships in the afternoon. Great to see that so many people are trying to do a lot of good in an area that no-one can deny is dealing with a lot of poverty. However many happy faces and a great insight to life in the townships. Good to meet all the people during the day and the lunch at Sheila and Blackey was also a lovely experience.
Well done and keep up the good work!

“Highlight of my time in Cape Town!”
Reviewed May 11, 2014 via mobile

If you're looking for an authentic Cape Town experience this is the company you want to book with. I did the jazz safari and township futures tour both guided by Michael. He is extremely knowledgeable about the history and culture of the area. He actually takes you for a walking tour of the townships instead of driving past in a van like other companies. This is an experience you won't get with any other company in town. Thanks again!

“Culinary tour”
Reviewed May 9, 2014 via mobile

This was an outstanding opportunity to experience the cultures and histories of Cape Town's different racial and ethnic groups. The food experience was terrific but much more significant was the chance to learn about life in the townships. The tour included a meal in a private home, an unforgettable experience. Our guide, Michael Letlala, was excellent

“Maybe its good, never got the chance”
Reviewed March 13, 2014

Make sure you book well ahead of time. During my recent visit I sent an e mail on Monday requesting a booking for the upcoming Friday night. On Wednesday I sent a follow up e mail. At which time I was told the Friday evening was full and they never received my first e mail. Disappointing.
