Owner description: The urban park was one of the legacy projects of the FIFA World Cup 2010. The area is adjacent to the Cape Town Stadium and has stunning views of both the stadium as well as Signal Hill. Lovely place to bring the kids to excercise or to have a picnic. It is also a learning experience for young and old. The garden is separated into ‘People and Plants’, ‘Wetlands’ and ‘Discovering Biodiversity’. The park hours are from 7 to 7 with visible security.

“Best park in CT”
Reviewed April 8, 2013

Space, scenery, plenty for children to keep active and busy, good for picnics, and wonderful to walk around - beautifully tended and in a great location (apart from when it's windy)

“A great addition to Mouille Points platinum mile”
Reviewed April 5, 2013

This new park is situated opposite the lighthouse and is so peaceful to walk around. It is ideal for little children and adults too. It is so peaceful and the view from the apartments in front of them are stupendous. They occassionally have concerts in the park too.

“A walk in the park”
Reviewed March 27, 2013

This park is well worth a visit. My wife and I strolled through on a lazy, sunny sunday. Lovely views over the Milnerton Golf Course, as well as of Table Mountain await. The gardens are very interesting and well laid out, with an area for children to play as well as places to sit and take in the ambience. We were pleasantly surprised.

“This is what a park is meant to be like!”
Reviewed March 20, 2013

This park has brought to Cape Town something which it needed years ago! A place where kids can be! Yes it is a safe enviroment for kids of all ages, from 1 to 101.
Chidren love it for all the free running space and park structures which have been set up according to age, so the toddlers wont have to get underfoot of the older more boisterous kids.
It has a lovely picnic area where countless birthday parties are held on a daily basis. Of course the area is limited so most people come early in order to "book" their space.
The more senior citizens also enjoy the large ares where you can walk in a safe environment as the whole area is closely monitored by helpful staff both security and other.
The only drawback of the whole area is the lack of an eatery of some sort- an inexpensive coffee shop type of establishment is just what this place needs! Perhaps the City Fathers should look at the viability of this.
All in all, just the place to unwind, practice your yoga or tai-chi or just relax!

“Little paradise!”

A perfect place for a family day out, or just read a book on a park bench! Spent a family afternoon on the weekend. Next time plan to go for a picnic.
