Owner description: The urban park was one of the legacy projects of the FIFA World Cup 2010. The area is adjacent to the Cape Town Stadium and has stunning views of both the stadium as well as Signal Hill. Lovely place to bring the kids to excercise or to have a picnic. It is also a learning experience for young and old. The garden is separated into ‘People and Plants’, ‘Wetlands’ and ‘Discovering Biodiversity’. The park hours are from 7 to 7 with visible security.

we spent a day here walking and driving around. the info centre is very helpful to visit before you start your day. we saw dolphins in the sea, babboons running around, a bit scary but if you do as the guide tells you and keep your car doors closed they are lovely to see. we also saw some ostrich in their own environment. a wonderful memory

I've been to this park on a number of occassions and must let you know that it is extremely wheelchair accessible. There are disabled parking bays on the Virgin active side of the park, easy access into the park. Getting around is via paved walk ways and ensures a good work out! :) Some nice area's with benches where you can just relax and have a picnic. This is well worth a visit if your in the area.

This park is kept in pristine condition. It is well worth having a picnic, a small function, or just a walk. It is adjacent to a golf course and the 2010 soccer world cup stadium. Well worth a visit!

I actually brought kids here for a fieldtrip. There are notes on medicinal plants, plants used for food, etc. The park has an awesome playground and benches to relax with your book. There is a huge sundial and the kids really enjoyed themselves.
