“Il Cappero - always a good choice!”
Reviewed June 5, 2014

Food is always very very good! It is a cozy restaurant with a very friendly atmosphere. Near to the main road but luckily not so loud and pumpy like most of the other restaurants on the strip.
Not too sure if the interior design is really the best - but food, drinks and hospitality make up for it easily. Always look forward to going again and again

“Exceptional Food”
Reviewed June 2, 2014

Most definitely a restaurant to visit. The food is delicious and there are chef's specials on offer too. They also permit your own wine if you settle a corkage fee. We booked a table on recommendation and were delighted we had the time to experience this delightful restaurant. The setting outside, weather permitting, is quaint with lights hanging from the trees. We chose to sit inside for the evening due to the chill in the air.
All in all a most enjoyable evening.

“More than Italian!!! here you are in Sicily!!”
Reviewed May 21, 2014

If you eat at Il Cappero you must ask the owner for advice before you choose... he will tell what is the best on offer and you will not be disappointed... A must to have is "spaghetti riccio" not always on the menu but a real treat ....Cetty knows how to prepare this pasta...Cannoli siciliani are always a good way to finish your meal... Buon appetito

“Great little Italian restaurant in Camps Bay!”
Reviewed May 12, 2014

Loved the evening at Il Cappero!

We had excellent, soft Gnocci and also a Bocconcini Primosale.

I also like the fixed price wine-list - great idea! (Well done!!)

Well worth it - it is just off the main road in Camps Bay with beautiful outside seating for good days.

“Small classy spot in Camps Bay”
Reviewed May 1, 2014

Tipped off about this gem from our B&B owner. Great find. Delicious sicilian food. Relaxing evening. Owner comes over to your table WITH the chalkboard of specials to show you up close and personal -- adorable! He may also be psychic because somehow he saw us approach the front door from beyond his gate in the dark and opened the door in magical time. This place would be a gem even among our Philadelphia mom and pop Italian restaurants!
