“An amazing night!”

So very happy to have found Manna Epicure!

Had made reservations earlier in the day for dinner on Sunday and upon arrival was greeted warmly at the door and seated immediately....always a plus!

The restaurant is small and only seats a limited number of people. The atmosphere is calming and casual chic. The menu was fresh, with a mixture of Mediterranean and South American influences and a nice selection of choices.

The home baked bread was a delicious start and were the tomatoes & mozzarella, prawns in chimichurri mayo and calamari appetizers! Each dish was as tasty as the next.

For the main course we ordered the chateaubriand which was served with a tasty salad, hand cut chips and onion rings. The meat was cooked perfectly, tender and seasoned well.

Unfortunately I have forgotten the name of our server but she was amazing and very attentive without being invasive. She took the time to learn a little about us and even came back to talk when she a had a moment between other tables. If the food wasn't as great as it was, I would still give Manna Epicure top ratings based on the service!

This a must stop on Kloof Street!

“Yummy”

Food was superb and the price was very low by our standards. It is small (like San Francisco) with good service and a great menu.

“Well worth a visit”

On a crisp, clear, wintery Cape day we wanted a nice lunch venue with good food and a warm vibe.We found just that at Manna in Kloof Street,Cape Town. The venue was warm and the welcome, friendly. Our waiter, Neville , was polite and efficient. The menus is interesting and breakfast is served until 4 pm.My husband ordered Kudu fillet which was accompanied by courgettes and feta.I decided on the eggs Benedict. The food arrived promptly and was enjoyed with a bottle of perfectly chilled Babelonstoren Rose,
BUT... the utterly divine cakes on the buffet beckoned and we indulged ourselves on the chocolate mint mousse cake and the white chocolate strawberry cake - totally decadent. We will be back and will try Manna one evening soon. The menu changes slightly in the evening and booking is essential. Not cheap though.

“Excelent”
Reviewed July 17, 2014

A night out with Family and friends just became better as expected, "...I reserved a table at a small restaurant that we have to try out, in Kloof street" said my friend, and there we go, the word "small" already creating expectations... and they where completely fulfilled, a Fresh design concept contrasting with the warm food, not only warm but also perfectly balanced and creative presentation, a 5 star service friendly and joyful. A special place, and wont say no more... so i can keep it special... to myself. if you go, please ask for the Lamb Shank ... impressive.

“Nice hidden gem.”

Manna is not in the Waterfront or the normal touristy places. So it was nice to find such a high quality restaurant.
I had the lamb shank. Awesome!!! The waitron suggested one of the local wines. It when perfectly together!
We where there are the time the shifts changed. The waitron did not stay to finish serving us.
