Maybe a bit of a tourist-trap, but I absolutely got trapped. We had one dinner that was very good - and much. But the big thing was the bar where they constantly show the great movie Casablanca above the bar-counter. Good, different beers from the tap. They also can make drinks - but did not have the very best skills... But - "I'll be back"..

I love rick's. one of the better restaurants in Cape Town and a regular favorite amongst my circles. Please do visit, their Moroccan food is great, their roof terrace is wonderful in summer season.

My hubby and I came here several times during our 12 day stay in Cape Town.

We wanted a lively bar where the music wasn't too loud, unlike a lot of them in Long Street.

It's situated just off Kloof Street after Arnold's Restaurant and is directly opposite The Fat Cactus bar.

Each time we went we had different cocktails which were mixed and served correctly amd nicely decorated (not juat stuck in a glass like a lot of other places).

It's quite big inside and you can have drinks or food or both. We didn't actually eat there but we did speak to some people who did and their comments were positive.

You can sit inside or out and the inside is decorated with Casablanca memoribilia.

Reasonably priced, with pleasant staff.
If you're in the vicinity, drop in for a cocktail!

From the road side you don't realise how big the place is inside. They have a few outdoor tables with views of table mountain and inside is nicely decorated and comfortable. The meal was very good, nothing to complain about there and the staff were very efficient and friendly. Definitely worth a visit
