“Worth saving up for”

It's not the cheapest but if you like Indian food and don't mind being a little adventurous with both your taste buds and wallet then I highly recommend the Bombay Brasserie.

Returned after a year, and the food is still as good. A few dishes was added crayfish tails cooked in the tandoori oven exquisite. Service always good with nice wine recommendations from the wine steward.

“Excellent service and outstanding food”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed July 5, 2014 via mobile

Outstanding food - Had a business dinner there we decided to share our food, and went with the waiter's recommendations - he prawn and green mango curry - superb, the bungalow chicken - delicious, a lamb curry yummiest, each and every dish was outstanding. A little pricey and worth every penny. Awesome Indian food!

“Enjoyed the beers and the top notch ambience”
3 of 5 bubbles Reviewed June 23, 2014

Not quite the food. Quite toned down from both flavors and 'hot' meter. Am sure there would be a lot of takers but not to my taste.

They had a chance to make up and customize the spice level but they didn't. If you like real mild version of Indian food you would sure love this place,it does have the ambience & service to boot.

“Classy Indian with Impeccable Service”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed June 21, 2014

We called to make a reservation for two and fortunate to get a seat 15 minutes before showing up at about 7 PM. In about an hour the restaurant was full, mostly with MPs from the nearby Parliament.

The restaurant is located in the Taj Hotel with windows overlooking the tree lined St. Georges Cathedral. Service is impeccable with waiters who know how everything is cooked and advise you what to expect from what you order. You get some interesting amuse bouche for free including a lovely dish of smoking sorbet (it comes in a dry ice bowl).

Food was above average w/o being exceptional.

This is a good restaurant to enjoy a meal in high quality surroundings where you can hear what your dining partners are saying. We contrast this favorably to Bukhara around the corner where we had to rush out because the noise and atmosphere was like a disco. Price is good in light of decor and high standards. We are booking another outing with friends next week.
