We went on our anniversary and it was really made to be a special experience. The service was excellent and the warmth of the staff really made us feel special. The food was some of the best Indian food I've ever tasted and the presentation was also a delight.

I have eaten in many great restaurants in India in Delhi and Mumbai and this compares with any except they have a twist. The food presentation was very nice. I was eating with my eyes the minute I saw the dish !"

The service was wonderful, the food sublime and we were thrilled that it was in our hotel. We were able to eat some favorite dishes that had a different spin - a sublime elegance.

This restaurant is a gem. Our arrival at the hotel was efficient and friendly as the valet whisked our vehicle to the parking lot. We were then escorted to a beautiful table in a gorgeous setting. Our waiter was excellent from start to finish. We had the 6 course tasting menu, which bar the first course which was a dumpling, was excellent. It really is a fantastic way to sample most of what this great Indian restaurant has to offer. The roasted corn soup with popcorn was rich and delicious. The curries especially the lentil curry was fab. Do keep some space for the divine desserts-the baked yoghurt and cherries is absolutely scrumptious, and the the kulfi ice-cream was just yum. Interspersed are palate cleansing sorbets. We are already planning our next visit.

Tasting food from Bombay Brasserie is like an explosion of flavours in your mounth: delicious, interesting, and makes you feel like tasting more. It's Indian cuisune taken to a higher level. The staff (both our waiter and the manager) is incredibly friendly. It's a bollywood style interior (dark & shiny), not something you would try at home, but a it matches the food. Not cheap for Cape Town, but very good value compared to similar European restaurants.
