wow such a variety of fantastic food. You need to go very early as it is very popular and becomes very crowded. Great craft items for sale in small shops in vicinity. A must see, an experience

Really interesting place to visit, this street market happens every Saturday on the Woodstock neighborhood. There's food for all tastes and for a very reasonable price, besides the souvenirs shops, where you can find some unique pieces (these can be a little more expensive). I recommend the paella guy and the dumplings!

A vibey funky place to go on a Saturday. We liked the diverse restaurants and the different shops that were there.

I've been to the market a few times and must admit the earlier the better, at least for me :) After 11am it gets really really packed which for me makes it less enjoyable. But anyways, the food is great and relatively affordable. My favorite are the rotis at the juice stand to the left upon entering the first hall.
The shops close by are also nice with lots of crafts and much much more. Don't miss the view over Woodstock's roofs you can get when going up all the way at the back :)

The sophisticated gourmet offerings at the biscuit mill on a Saturday morning surprise the most seasoned of travelers.
To grab a bite then mingle with your fresh Kale and Lettuce juice amongst visiting students at UCT for a semester or merely visiting french german and dutch tourists is truly amazing. A uniquely Cape Town experience particularly regarding the quality of the offerings. I also love the craft side where Andile shows his ceramic talent off as well as the chocolaterie and the outsized digital store with images of Persian Rugs attached to the cement floor.
