Quality shops and eateries in the heart of Gren Point. Secure parking makes this place a winner. Stock up on speciality food from the Spar or browse the lovely shops

Clean and secure. AMAZING Spar is well worth the visit. Delictable delights for young and old. The mall is small and intimate. If you staying in a self-catering apartment, visit here for all your food and treats and more.

A great location if you are shopping for decorative home items which was my agenda. Some interesting galleries too. Lots of places to grab coffee or a bite to eat.

This is a nice small mall in the heart of Cape Town on Somerset Street, with a beautiful open Square on the inside. The Spar is amazing!
But the REAL GEM however is the smaller original Cape Quarter PIAZZA next door on the corner of Dixon and Waterkant Street (just across the street from the mall).
It is really quaint with a European feel. It has a beautiful open piazza with a huge pepper tree in the middle. Great place to have a meal.
It has good restaurants like the cozy Le Petit Tart (best carrot cake I ever ate!) and Andiamo (Italian) There is even a traditional Halaal Cape Malay restaurant (authentic Malay food, but no alcohol served), Beautiful art shops, Lindt Chocolate store (with amazing specials!!), the cute Baraka Gift & Decor (original and inexpensive gifts), African Nova (amazing ceramics), a perfumery, hairdresser, a dentist and even the oldest gay bar in Cape Town!
De Waterkant neighborhood is a beautiful little neighborhood full of character and atmosphere, with cute colorful houses (Walk down Waterkant Street and Loader Street - it is safe and fun)
We like the area so much that we bought a house here!
Definitely a must visit when you come to Cape Town.

What a great little find. Been going to Cape Town for several years now and never knew it existed. Sunday is the best with the market. Great little food stalls with an excellent atmosphere supplied by a dj playing very cool music. Well worth the visit
