“Simply fantastic!”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed August 24, 2012

We stayed at More Quarters in a one bedroom apartment. Everything about our stay and the apartment was excellent. It was a spacious, tastefully furnished and clean apartment in a great location. It was literally just around the corner from some fantastic restaurants. You could walk to many of the attractions and were quite close to one of the 'hop on hop off' bus stops. There was also free wifi access. Although in such a central location we certainly did not experience any problems with noise, in fact we found it very quiet inside the apartment

We stayed for 4 nights and on the last night we had a hire car which we parked in their secure garage just across the road from the apartments. These spaces are limited but there is parking in the street just outside of the apartments and we would have been happy to park there as we think this would also have been quite safe.

The service was fantastic! Everyone we met was very friendly and helpful and gave us many great suggestions for things to see and how to get there.

Breakfast was also really great. The food was of a high quality with the cold selection being buffet style but the hot breakfast cooked to order.

We enjoyed our time in Capetown and this was certainly enhanced by the service we received at More Quarters.

We had a 1 bed apartment - tastefully furnished. The location is excellent - lots of casual restaurants close by and bars. Some reviews have complained about noise but you are staying in a city and yes we could here some noise from the local bar when Sth Africa won gold in the Olympics but quite frankly there would be something wrong if you didn't. have also read criticisms about lack of parking - we stayed 4 nights and had no problem parking our car in the secure street outside reception.

There is a lovely breakfast room with probably the best breakfasts we had during our 3 week stay in Africa. Views up to Table Mt from the lovely sunlit room.

The service from the staff was exceptional - recommendations on local eateries, what to do and even driving us to the wharf to meet the ferry to Robben Island.

A very personal venue far enough away from the touristy water front but close enough to all major tourist attractions

We travelled to Cape Town in late November 2011 and stayed here as part of our tour and can't say enough about the location, the people, the food and the amazing rooms!
The view from the common room in the main building over looks Table Mountain and it's beautiful, to have breakfast overlooking that view.

The suite we stayed in was the second floor, at the end of the drive and it was super clean, well furnished and very safe.

Mores organizes tours across Cape Town, but we rented a car at the airport, they provided us with parking and we toured the entire cape in 1 week.

There is tons to see, it's a beautiful city and i would go back to SA in a heart beat and stay at Mores.

A cab ride to the waterfront is cheap about $10-15 I think and the restaurants around the area of the hotel are tasty. Quick tip, on Thursday/Friday, the restaurant/club beside the complex becomes the hot spot, cheap drinks and lots of fun people! Ask the staff they will help you find all the details to everything in the city and around.

Room Tip: All different and well furnished -- our group stayed in 5 different suites (lounging area, kitchen...

My husband and I stayed here in August 2011. Its a very cute small hotel where rooms are more like small apartments with your own living room and kitchen and small outdoor area. The breakfast was great and the staff was very friendly. We worked with the tour company that the hotel recommends as both a taxi service around Cape Town and also for a private tour down to the Cape of Good Hope and a private wine tour - all were great and very reasonably priced. Very nice and clean place for a couple or small family to stay in Cape Town. Has more of a B&B feel than a hotel. We would stay here again!

Room Tip: can't remember what type of room we had but it was great!

My husband and I together with our adult children spent 4 nights at More Quarters. The apartment was wonderful. It was the first apartment we have rented outside of the USA which had 2 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms. The apartment had a tea/coffee maker which came in handy late at night when we wanted a cup of tea. The location was excellent - almost every nationality of restaurant within a 10 minute walk. The staff was very cordial and accommodating making restaurant recommendations and providing directions. The breakfast was lovely with a nice selection of cereals, yogurt, dried meats and cheese as well as eggs, pancakes and French Toast. I highly recommend the hotel.

More Quarters is a wonderful place to stay while in Cape Town. Located just off busy restaurant row of Kloof Street, we could walk around the neighborhood safely, day or night. The rooms were beautifully modern, and we share a "town house" with our friends; they downstairs with a little private garden patio, and we upstairs with a splendid balcony and view of Table Mountain.
I cannot rave enough about the helpful staff. There was nothing they couldn't or wouldn't do for you, were always pleasant and charming. Breakfast was fresh and filling, in a pretty white room with another great view. I give this location top marks!

Room Tip: We were in #'s 19 and 20, upstairs and down. Lovely, good linens, quiet, facing a side street...

Loved this hotel - great first impression, the room was lovely (huge!), service fantastic, breakfast spot on.

Didnt need to worry about a thing - a 2 min stroll to a selection of restaurants on Kloof, and made the most of the complimentary shuttles to the V&A Waterfront.

Would definitely recommend this hotel!
