One of Cape Town's gems. It isn't a quick cheap meal, what is definitely delivers is surprise to the tastebuds in a unique style. Even to a jaded business traveler, these guys have a special magic. Highly recommended! Treat yourself to a superb dining experience.

A true gem of a bistro , right across the road from our hotel , with incredible food and fantastic wines . Definitely worth a visit , but be ensure to book as we had to sit outside and the wind can be rather unpleasant.

We were set for a romantic dinner in Societi - as we have enjoyed it very much last year. The setting is still very nice, service good for SA standards. But the food got a bit disappointing - compared with the other fab places and restaurants here in CPT. Our dinner started at 8 - and our 3 courses were rushed through in 45 mins (!) ... which leaves room for interpretation how "fresh" vs. pre-made the food was. While the starters were ok - the seafood platter as a main was a true disappointment: prawns were so much overcooked and in addition the whole platter (in addition it had moussles, oysters and crayfish) had a very strong and trul not nice fish-smell ... but at least my partners tuna prooved to be good. The wine recommendation by our waiter was excellent (and is was the best part of ghe dinner). Also: when ready please don't bother anyone asking to call you a taxi ... they got their money (incl a generous tip) and want to turn around the table as quick as possible - as opposed to help you ... particularly if you are a tourist with limited chances to come back again ... which we will certainly NOT do!

Was looking for a wine bar, ended up booking here. Great place with professional service, cool dishes and a nice selection of wines. Towards end of Long Street towards Table Mountain side.

Dishes like Watermelon salad with feta, Ostrich burger and seared squid. All very tasty.
