Nestled in lovely Tamboerskloof on the mountain, this B&B offers closesness to all main attractions of Cape Town such as bar-coffee district in Gardens, V&A waterfront, Table Mountain and just over the hill are the cique and not to be missed Camps Bay.

Having travelled a lot, Lionscape B&B is the place of choice for me when ever I am in Cape Town. From the balcony one enjoys stunning views over the city bowl, waterfront and Table Mountain. The hosts Paul and Zephney are extremely friendly and will gladly assist you with what ever question you have.

Don't expect much luxary, rooms, bathrooms and breakfast are basic but ok. Great views of Cape Town (if there isn't to much smog), 10' walk to some good restaurants, very close to Table mountain. And Paul makes a good host.

As value guest houses go this is the best. First the location. Fantastic views of Cape Town City from Tamberskloof Hill at the rear blacony and Table Mountain and Lion's Head to the front. Very safe comfortable locality. The town centre is walkable in about 30-40 minutes down the hill.

The hosts Paul and Zephany welcome you into their home as if it were yours. Extraordinarily friendly they are constantly on hand to advise and assist. Even Lassie the Dog wants to get to know you.

Paul and his wife made us feel extremely welcome from the start. They have lots of local inside knowledge which was exactly what we needed when we had little time for exploring ourselves during our short stay. The rooms are perfect for a group of a few friends, the view from the balcony is a great place for having breakfast. Restaurants and the city are a short walk away through a nicer area of Cape Town.

Travelling with friends, we all enjoyed our time at Lionscape. Paul and Ztefany made us feel at home and gave us plenty of local 'inside' information.

Beautiful views of the city and the mountains, the surrounding area is really quiet, peaceful and relaxing.

All in all a top place to stay at a really affordable price!
