If you're going to Cape Town and want somewhere special to stay then try the Bluegum Hill Guest House at Green Point. Nicely located within 15 minutes walk of the Victoria and Alfred down at the seafront with surely one of the best views in Cape Town, overlooking the ocean and Robben Island. Owners and staff really lovely, welcoming without being intrusive but always there if needed. Comfortable rooms (crispest sheets and crackly duvet - gorgeous). I can't think of a single thing to complain about. Simply faultless.
