The food is fantastic, the service friendly and the vibe is great. I highly recommend you go hungry. It’s a sharing menu so some may not be comfortable with giving away that last bite..

Don't get me wrong... It's actually really nice. Food was well above average, and the cocktail and wine list was good.

It's R700 per couple for about 5 courses. Set menu. But they had such a strange and complicated way of dealing with it party of 3.

Each course has 2 or 3 small dishes. But instead of just making each dish for 3 by adding 1 more skewer or an extra floret of cauliflower, the chef selected 1 item from each course and plated it separately.

The waiter spent a long time explaining the process to us... He then explained it another time when we started to order incorrectly. But we still didn't understand. And what appeared was a little disappointing and felt decidedly like an afterthought.

Hopefully, they'll change that because it's actually a nice place to go.

Go if you're 2 or 4 (or any even number), but check how they do things if you've an odd number in your party if you don't want to feel like a3rd wheel. Hopefully, they'll change their system and welcome us crazy 3s and 5s
