Description: Sevruga is a culmination of a lifetime of work, and our complete dedication to perfection. Although perfection is almost always a step away, we always endeavour to exceed your wildest expectations, offerings lush interiors, exquisite dining and an intimate atmosphere seating up to 350. From the New York style entrance, polished marble and solid wooden floors, to the fabulous American walnut bar counter and designer chairs with opulent, imported fabric, it is clear that no expense has been spared. Our philosophy when creating Sevruga was the same as when we create our signature dishes. We use the best possible raw ingredients, combined with professional and creative suppliers and craftsmen to create a truly amazing experience. An elaborate menu offering a vast array of wines and meals ranging from humble dishes to taste sensations, with more complex tastes and flavours. The service is relaxed yet professional, while the view from both inside the restaurant and out on the terrace, will take your breath away! As part of giving Sevruga customers an all-round experience, a Functions Manager for tour and incentive groups is always on hand and, from the entrance to the kitchen, Sevruga has steadfast principles in place to guarantee an over-all experience of grandeur. With especially designed set menus, we can cater for any function. It's no wonder that every now and then we are delighted to have famous faces, both local and international, grace our establishment. A-list Hollywood stars such as Harrison Ford, Calista Flockhart and Tom Hardy, have been spotted dining at Sevruga, as well as our beautiful Benoni Blom Charlize Theron. You never know you might just bump into Brangalina! "The only reason to visit the V&A Waterfront". - The New York Times.

Right on the harbor, in the thick of the tourist area, is a trendy restaurant that was filled with both tourists and locals. Good sushi, interesting menu, great wine list and nice view. Our only complaints were that it was a bit loud and a bit smoky (from the bar)

Christmas eve was my 3rd visit to my favourite Cape Town restaurant. Although very busy the service was excellent with a TRAINED waiter who had class and etiquette. Even our very demanding family members were wowed by the service and the food and we will definitely make a plan to return on our next visit to Cape Town.

Prices were reasonable and even the wine prices were not over the top as in most restaurants. There is a very wide selection of wines to satisfy the most demanding palate, including expensive imported champagne.

The ambiance of the restaurant and the view from the outside seating is excellent. This classy restaurant is very special and a must if you are visiting Cape Town.

Half-price sushi and cocktails - yes, please! The Sevruga plate is my favourite - R120 for 26 pieces. The vibe is slightly pretentious, and I found the sushi fresher at Willoughby's (also in the Waterfront) - but it's the best value for money and the view from the tables outside is better than sitting in the mall. This is my first choice for sushi, followed by sister company Beluga.

My husband and I visitied Sevruga twice on our recent visit to Cape Town. The sushi and cocktails are excellent! The restaurant has a fantastic location and is beautifully designed. The waitron service could be a bit slow at times but it was peak season and the restautant was busy so you could excuse that. We will definately be back next time we are in the Mother city!
