First of all I have to say that I really enjoyed my stay at Glen. The hotel is in a good location (safe neighbourhood with restaurants just down the road) and main Cape Town attractions can be reached within a 10-15min drive.
The room I had was very spacious and clean. I also liked the private balcony. Housekeeping did a great job keeping it clean as well. Only negative thing here was that as I stayed there during winter it got quite cold at night and there was no heater in the room. But to be fair, I didn't ask for one and if I had, the staff would have probably brought one.
For breakfast there was a variety of things (everything seamed fresh) to choose from and I personally wouldn't know what more to wish for.
The staff was very friendly and welcoming throughout my entire stay, giving tips about the activities I was planning to do, assisting me with everything I needed and making sure I was fine at all times. So great thanks for that!
The only thing I would "criticise" is that at times the service for breakfast/dinner felt a little unorganised as I was served by 4-5 different waiters, each one of them asking me if I had already ordered or wanted something else, so I had to explain every minute that I was fine. But I feel like it's better to be asked too often than not being served at all and this was only a small thing I think would be with improving than otherwise this hotel is a great choice for a stay in Cape Town and i would definitely stay again!
