My wife and I stayed in the Glen Boutique Hotel for 6 nights in early August 2013. The hotel is cleverly designed with a great layout; it is open and inviting - yet privacy is not compromised. We have been travelling for the past 3 months and have stayed in many types of accommodation, it is fair to say this was the best by a continental mile. The staff were great. The team at the Hotel know how to assist and make the stay in the Hotel enjoyable and are knowledgeable about things to do and see in Cape Town and the surrounding area.

We left some of our belongings at the Hotel and the Team couriered this to us in Port Elizabeth promptly. The local area - Seapoint is a great suburb, if you get a chance to stay at the Glen Boutique Hotel - do so. The food, be it breakfast, lunch or dinner is boutique, excellent. If you are a man that loves or needs a new shirt or three - the Hotel has a great range on sale.

Me and my wife recently stayed at The Glen for our holiday
since the moment of our arrival till the moment of departure, one week later, everything was really good and with a friendly, polite and efficient touch
Spacious and well equipped room, great Hotel location, the parking facilities are a must if you rent a car and tour the Cape Province and the staff was always there when you needed something, from a tip to a reservation to a friendly good morning
It become our new home in Cape Town

We enjoyed our stay! The staff were amazing & made us feel comfortable & went the extra mile for us. From the time we entered till the time we left everything was peaceful, welcoming and out of this world. The experience was breathtaking and beyond our expectations, there food was exquisite.

The Glen boutique hotel is centrally located in a residential area in the Atlantic Seaboard (Sea Point). The hotel consists of a lovely, big, old house that was converted into the initial accommodation, and a large new annex all linked by wooden decks and the pool area. The hotel is within walking distance from shops, the promenade (for leisurely walks/ runs next to the ocean) and to the city centre (short taxi ride).

The superior standard room I stayed in was spacious, beautifully furnished and very comfortable. The linen and towels were of good quality and there was a large selection of television channels alongside a dvd player for those wanting to relax inside. The only possible drawback is the noise level in the smaller building next to the pool where my room was located. The whole building has cement/ crete floors which is lovely, but unfortunately intensifies the sound of other guests coming and going. Fortunately there were no noisy, inconsiderate guests during my stay.

The pool area is lovely with fresh towels on all the stretchers alongside the pool. I spent most my time here enjoying drinks from the bar. The staff were professional, helpful and efficient throughout my short stay.

This hotel offers great value for money - especially if you stay at lower rates during off peak season. It is a very good contender in its league.

The one consistent item with the glen is the magnificent service from the staff. These guys make you feel like royalty! They always have a smile on their faces and handle any kind of niggle or qiestion with enthusiastic professionalism. This place is good value for money. For completeness the small downsides were the noise in the passage kept is awake the one evening due to people using the public toilets. The other being a couple of tlc itema in our room that should have been sorted out like signs of damp with paint cracking in the corner. Look past that though as this place is a gem that I heartily recommend
