The evening started with an inter-active drum playing, heart throbbing bang! The evening just flowed along in the same vein. The entertainment while eating was top-class, while the food served was a culinary delight to the taste buds. Foods from all over Africa, get to tickle your taste buds and you leave there having had real gold(leaf) on your tongue!

The museum is so-so, but the café is very cozy, located in the backyard with big trees and next to the oldest existing church in Cape Town.
We had lunch and enjoyed it with a glass of wine - everything being above expectations.

Found the museum very informative. The layout was great and the information was very interesting. Seeing all the old gold jewellery was really intereting too.

Barbier Mueller maintains this very very rich museum.
A history lesson followed by the most exquisite african tribal gold jewelry.
My favourite museum in Cape Town.
There used to be a restaurant there also, but it was closed when we went.
I assume it would be a good one, as the collection in mintly presented and the museum shop was top quality also.
