My wife and I have just returned to England from a superb time in Cape Town. The Aquamarine Suite that we stayed in for 2 weeks, is decorated in a lovely fresh but warm and welcoming décor, with stunning views of the ocean as well as views of the 12 Apostles Mountain range behind us. These are views that we didn't tire of and would imagine everyone else would echo that. The suite had everything we needed, air-con, ceiling fan, bath and shower in bathroom, kitchen area with fridge and microwave, ironing board etc - the list goes on. Our room adjoined the lounge which had it own fully stocked honesty bar - used frequently! Waking up and seeing the ocean with the rising sun behind us to having sundowners watching the sun set over the ocean - you just can't beat those views! The hosts Pam & Steve have thought about the detail in every aspect of this accommodation and what different types of people would like. They were very attentive, but also gave us the space and privacy we needed for a fantastic relaxing break. The two weeks flew by and we were very sad to leave, assuring Pam & Steve that we would return soon, for much longer next time! Thank you Cape Town and thank you Pam & Steve. A holiday we will never forget. Sally & Mark

Having spent a six night stay at Cape Rose Cottage we can thoroughly recommend it as an ideal location to explore Cape Town & surrounding area's. The house & bedrooms are immaculate & tastefully decorated with stunning views. Our Room was equipped with everything possibly needed, down to a first aid kit. Pam & Steve were the perfect hosts, so welcoming & helpful that we wanted to stay longer!
For anyone planning a trip to South Africa a stay a Cape Rose Cottage would be a perfect start or finish to such a beautiful country.

The pictures do an excellent job of showcasing the beautiful place that Cape Rose Cottage is, but they do not depict the hospitality that is offered here. Not only is the place AMAZING and has a beautiful ocean view, but upon arrival Pam and Steve treated us like family. We were a little late to check in because our rental car reservations were lost, however within minutes Steve had another company on the phone that could get us a car within our time frame. They stocked the kitchen with plenty for us to eat, as well as homemade cookies! We checked in on Christmas Eve and we even had a lovely box of chocolates wrapped in Christmas paper for us. The room comes equipped with all of the usual amenities, but it's the little things that matter, such as the dictionary size welcome guide which tells you all of the places to go in Camps Bay, an electrical converter in the room, and the impeccable decorating. You will truly feel pampered by staying here. We are lucky that we secured a reservation and I could not recommend staying here any more. The hotel is within walking distance to Camps Bay beach and plenty of restaurants which is an added bonus. I travelled with my boyfriend and thanks to our own private balcony, we had tons of privacy as well. Happy travels to Cape Town and I hope you are able to stay at Cape Rose Cottage!

Great location, great property and decor, and the best hosts I've ever had. It was honestly like staying with your grown up parents who give you all the privacy and autonomy you want, but give you all the support and help you'll take!

Just for perspective, our rental car company lost our reservation and refused to give us a car. When we told Pam and Steve this, they not only sympathized and brainstormed ideas, Steve left, googled options, called them on Christmas Eve, and found us one of the last cars in all of Cape Town.

Cannot recommend enough!! Def book if you have the opportunity!

I have been to and stayed four times at the Rose Cottage. Why? Well, for starters, it is just lovely. The rooms are beautifully appointed and the views are spectacular. But what is even more special are the hosts, Pam and Steve,. On your first step into their beautiful home, you will be made to feel special and in a matter of minutes recognize that you hit the jackpot when it comes to B and B's. A truly delightful experience and I can hardly wait for my fifth visit. Thank you, Pam and Steve for always making my trips to Cape Town so special.
