Visited for sons wedding. Stayed here for 4 nights and its brilliant, so friendly, colorful rooms everything you could want. Pam and Steve do everything to make you so welcome and comfortable. We are in love with Camps Bay and will certainly go back. If you want somewere to stay that is relaxing and makes you feel special this is the place to stay.

We stayed in Cape Rose Cottages for 3 nights as part of a 3 week honeymoon trip to South Africa.

Upon arrival, we were greeted by Pam and shown to our room. Pam had left two gifts, a card and a bottle of Cap Classique (South African champagne) in our room for our arrival. This was really unnecessary and made our welcome even more special. We stayed in the Aquamarine Suite which had amazing sea views. The room itself was nicely decorated and had all the amenities we would have expected/required, including satellite TV, internet and air con. The kitchen was well stocked with bread, milk, juice, yoghurts, tea (proper English!), coffee and biscuits. It was lovely to have this kind of set up as by the end of our 3 week period we had had more than enough of "how would you like your eggs this morning, sir?" It was also nice that we had a proper fridge as we could buy drinks and keep them cool.

Cape Rose has a beautiful garden with a swimming pool, as well as a lounge with honesty bar. The place is exceptionally well maintained and looked after, which shines through during your stay....every little detail has been thought out.

If I had one minor complaint to make, it would be that the room got very hot in the afternoon with the sun coming down in front and shining through the glass doors (obviously not the hosts fault) and the air con unit seemed a little old and unable to cool the room down as quickly as it had in other places we had stayed. There is no way this little issue affects my rating, however.

We had a wonderful time in this wonderful place....the accommodation was great, but it was the hosts (and particularly Pam) that made all the difference. We felt like if we had any issues, questions, queries or anything, that Pam would have bent over backwards to help us out and rectify it. As it turns out, we had none other than asking for a local taxi driver and a restaurant, but it was reassuring that if we needed anything the owner was downstairs and was so accommodating.

Camps Bay was also nice, lots of nice restaurants and places to shop. We didn't go to Camps Bay beach, we went to Llandudno on Pam's recommendation and it was fantasticly peaceful.

Thanks Pam & Steve.

Me and my partner stayed here for 5 nites and its brilliant. Color coordinated rooms, brilliant view of the atlantic ocean, very comfortable, amenities to rival any 5/6 star hotels anywhere in the world. Pam and steve takes great pains to ensure we are comfortable and that our needs are all met. Love the kitchen in our rooms where breakfast is provided and its a self help service. Makes it so flexible in our sleeping arrangements. Overall, this place is brilliant! Great location, neighbourhood is in the upper class section of camps bay and its safe. Would definitely come back here again to stay when I do come back to cape town! Briiliant job pam and steve.

Pam and Steve make you feel like it is your home but with all the amenities of a first rate hotel. There simply is no better place to stay in Cape Town. This was my third visit and I'll be back.

My fiance and I stayed at Cape Rose Cottage for 4 days and 3 nights. Our experience in Cape Town was unforgettable and a lot of that was thanks to Pam and Steve for their accommodations and hospitality. We stayed in the Lavender Room which was not only beautiful and very clean but also comfortable and safe. The view of the ocean was breath taking and it's location was at the perfect angle to see the ocean as well as the mountain range. Not only were the accommodations on par, but the service couldn't have been better. My fiance and I actually got engaged during our trip. After the proposal, there was a bottle of champagne, flowers, box of very nice chocolates, and a hand written message from Pam and Steve congratulating us. They even helped us plan a beautiful sight-seeing route and went out of their way to make dinner reservations for us at some very wonderful restaurants. Overall, the room and service was fantastic and we will be staying at Cape Rose Cottage every time we visit Cape Town.

Cape Rose Cottage is beyond any expectations you might have. No matter how high are your expectation, it will be overfulfilled when you'll get to the guesthouse. Coziness, cleanliness, a lot of beautiful touches hard to describe in a few words.
I deeply think is the best place you could choose in the area. Location is great, even if it's not so close to the beach, but we like to explore the places on foot and the morning walks to the main area was entirely delightful, so nothing to complain about it. If you are not a walker and you don't have a car you could take a cab as it is quite affordable. Pam&Steve, the owners of the place are the warmest people in the world. They took care of everything you might need and nothing seemed too much for them. They will perfectly guide you to get the best from the place- trips, transport, reservations, restaurants or other things you are not accustomed to and you would like to try. I really missed Herbie, their lovely cat who made our mornings and evenings full of joy. Fantastic trip, fantastic place, fantastic host.

Room Tip: The green room is gorgeous. You'll have a lot of intimacy and a private garden like a heaven cor...

We had a fantastic trip to SouthAfrica and a lovely stay at the Cape Rose Cottage Suite. Not only the highly decorated room or the beautiful green colour of our room but also the generosity of our host, Pam and Steve, made us feel very special. The clean room, beautiful garden, swimming pool and the nice scene of Atlantic Ocean, all those were beyond our expectations. When we were in a bus tour (Pam advised us to go for the tour), moving around Cape Town they told us Camps Bay is one of the most beautiful beaches around the world (and for sure it is), I should also add that Cape Rose Cottage, is one of the spot which makes Camps Bay such a beautiful place. I recommend Cape Rose Cottage to anyone who want a home away from home

Room Tip: The Green Suite is beautiful and nice for couples
