Absolutely love it! Boutique hotel with 11 rooms it’s just perfect. Sometimes feel like you are alone walking in the corridor or laying next to swimming pool (which feels like at home). Staff are extremely friendly and helpful. Swimming pool is slightly to small but heard the “gossip” that they are building one big one. :) we had mountain view room which is absolutely stunning. In the building there’s very good restaurants and bars.

Yes the rumours are true!

We are closing for a short while in April until July.

We will be adding 27 more rooms to The Marly and a new deck with pool, spa and gym.

So we hope to see you again so that you can enjoy the new additions that we are planning.

Just Perfect from every aspects, except I prefer a breakfast buffet not a set menu.
Mountain view room is amazing, but I had a long fence in my balcony (room#10).
Staff are the best ever, very friendly and helpful.

This is the strangest hotel we have ever stayed in. To call it a hotel is questionable. It is accessed from the multi-storey car park of a rather rundown shopping centre. The hotel entrance (on the third floor) is from the car park. Thereafter the rooms are on one floor and it consists of a corridor with the bedrooms off.
The floors below house several restaurants also owned by the company.
There is a sunbathing terrace with a pool. The filter system was turned off while we were there so the pool was green with a lot of dirt floating in it. Off the terrace is Chinchilla - a bar that opens at 4pm and plays very loud music ruining any chance of chilling by the pool in the late afternoon. The terrace is quite uninviting and closed in by four high walls. As it is above a series of restaurants there is also constant noise from the industrial extractor fans from the kitchens below, as well as the frequent smell of cooking food.
On a positive note, breakfast is taken in a cafe/bakery underneath the hotel. The food was very nice. We ate lunch there each day which was always good.
The staff at The Marly are all lovely. Very helpful, friendly and warm.
Our room was perfectly fine. Very spacious, comfortable and clean. The view over the 12 Apostles was nice. Our choice of a room at the back of the hotel was a good one. We imagined the suites on the front were probably quite noisy.
We weren't leaving the hotel on our last night till 6pm. We asked about facilities to change and shower. We were told that if any rooms weren't booked we could use one. Otherwise we would have to use a small room off the pool area which was completely inadequate.
We felt we had no choice other than to pay for an extra night to give us definite access to facilities.
Should we ever visit Camps Bay again we would choose a different hotel.

This is a lovely suite of rooms right in the centre of Camps Bay promenade with wonderful views. Very well appointed and comfortable bedrooms and superb bathrooms, immaculately kept. The bar attracts the cool crowd, and our room, right next door, got noisy in the evening. The hotel lacks the facilities normally associated with a 5* property. The pool is small and the restaurants are part of a large group rather than in the hotel so tend to get crowded. The staff without exception are charming and helpful.

Room tip: Mountain view rooms are quieter

We stayed here for our honeymoon and enjoyed both a Mountain View and ocean view room during our three-night stay. The location was ever so convenient for enjoying the sites and sounds of restaurants Camps Bay and the room was well appointed. The staff was FABULOUS, always friendly and always keeping our best interests in mind. The only slightly negative thing I would say is that the hotel needs to fix the awnings outside of the rooms as they make quite a bit of noise in high winds (which can be frequent this time of year). All in all, highly recommend The Marly.
