Our stay was fantastic! The breakfasts were decadent, with a raw oyster bar and bubbly. Watching the sunset on the Leopard Bar balcony was the perfect end to our first day. Wandering around the trails and exploring the natural beauty is a must. And dinner at Azure is a wonderful way to end a long day of exploring Cape Town. Exceeded our expectations! Staff are outstanding. And be sure to look for the resident feline, who wanders the grounds like the little lion he is.

Room Tip: We had a garden view, which had a private seating area outside the sliding glass doors, and direct access to the grounds and pools.

This place is just a dream. We stayed for one night in May 2017 and I loved it so much that I have also included it in my honeymoon next year.

The staff are fantastic and incredibly attentive. The whole hotel is just gorgeous and has so many facilities you will never go without. The breakfast had everything I could think of and was incredibly well presented.

The hotel was just lovely. I in particular love all the little areas where you can have a moment to yourself, like the hammocks up the mountain at the back of the property.

I would and have recommended it to everyone who is around that part of SA.

It is with great pride that I read you had such an amazing experience with us. We truly pride ourselves in the personal, attentive and professional service we offer. Add the service to the wonderful sunsets from the Leopard Bar, breakfast in Azure, in-room dining, High Tea experience, mountain trail walks and it all makes for a memorable experience.

We certainly are thrilled to be a part of your Honeymoon celebrations.

From the enthusiastic and personal welcome in reception, to the wonderfully curated artwork and the fabulously soft bed sheets this place is as far away from a large chain corporate hotel as you could wish to see. It is high quality in all respects. Attention to detail is engrained in every experience; bedroom, bathroom, the excellent Leopard Bar and the superb breakfast. All topped off by a delicious Cocktail in front of a world class sunset. So nice to get out of the hustle and bustle of Cape Town but still be within touching distance.

This was our second visit to The Twelve Apostles. As usual, you are warmly welcomed by the reception staff and given a glass of bubbles while checking in. Our two children were offered a milkshake, which was the first of many wonderful surprises during our 4 days at the hotel. While there was a problem with our suite, this was quickly and professionally resolved, which we really appreciated. Our suite was lovely and spacious with a great view of the pool and ocean beyond. Our children were pleased to find tents to sleep in, with fun personalized gift bags in them. The best thing about staying at a Red Carnation hotel is the thoughtful touches that always make your stay extra special, like special children's bath goodies, or a complimentary bottle of wine. The weather was excellent while we were at the hotel, so spent most of our days swimming in the heated pool and then mooching off to The Leopard Bar at around sunset to feed the children and watch the exceptional sunsets from the balcony. The children's menu is well thought out and will keep even the fussiest of little eaters happy. The food at The Cafe, Azure and The Leopard Bar was all excellent and we were happy with every meal. The highlight of our stay was a special birthday and the hotel organized a delicious cake at short notice for us, which once again proved just how willing everybody is to ensure that your stay at The Twelve Apostles is really special. We will definitely return.

This is one of the best hotels in Cape Town. It's located on the sea front and gives a beautiful view of the sea front. I enjoyed my meals in the hotel, especially the breakfast, with restaurant overlooking the sea.

The rooms are a bit small, but extremely cozy and have all the necessary facilities that a premium hotel should offer. All the rooms have an outdoor seating, however not all of them have a great view.

The hotel pathways are decorated with lovely paintings. It gives you a feeling of a boutique hotel. The staff is extremely friendly, thought they goofed up with the orders at the time of the breakfast, but that's the only negative that I could think off during my stay here!

Note: the place is about 8-10 kms away from the main city centre, so just keep this in mind while booking your stay

All in all a great place to visit.
