“Perfect Wedding Day!”
Reviewed May 30, 2012

We got married here on 25 March 2012. We cannot thank Stephanie enough for her excellent organisation and wonderful service that we received with the planning and execution of what we think was the best wedding ever! From start to finish we never had to worry about a thing…it all ran so smoothly thanks largely to Willem's watchful eye and the all the staff were really good and delivered wonderful service. You guys really without a doubt offer the best wedding service in South Africa and the day would have not been the same if we didn’t have all you busy bees fluttering around sorting things out behind the scenes.

We stayed 3 nights and the experience at the hotel is exceptional. We had family fly in from all over the world staying here and everyone had the most marvellous stay. We stayed in a sea facing suite and it was without a doubt the best hotel room I have ever stayed in. The rooms are beautiful and spacious. The Spa was wonderful too. All in all an unforgettable experience. Well done to you all.

A very heartfelt thank you from Barnaby and Prieshka Taylor

Room Tip: Pay a little more for the superior deluxe room - it is so much more spacious, but all the rooms are...

we went for breakfast on the second morning of our holiday, got there just after sun rise. the sun does rise a little later in winter, so not obscenly early. we sat outside on the patio, the air was fresh but that did not deter us from enjoying the view from outside. the breakfast spread was just that, a spread of everything i could possibly desire for breakfast! cereals, toast and jam, smoked salmon, bacon and eggs, kippers, sausages, beans and a whole lot more!!! but the best part was the champagne (MCC). and boy did we have our moneys worth. probably should not have driven back to our hotel that morning, loved it!!

Dear Trip Advisor Reviewer,

We are delighted to receive a review from you indicating the enjoyable time you had at The Twelve Apostles Hotel and Spa.

Our award winning Executive Chef, Henrico Grobbelaar, prides himself in the exceptional quality of local produce and there is indeed no better spot than the Twelve Apostles Hotel to enjoy fresh oysters and sparkling wine while you are overlooking the crashing waves of the Atlantic Ocean.

Please note that the same level of care is taken to ensure a similar memorable experience at our other properties Bushman’s Kloof and The Oyster Box which form part of the wider Red Carnation Family.

The team at The Twelve Apostles looks forward to your next visit.

Warm regards,

This is certainly one of the most amazing places in South Africa. Stuck onto the foot of a mountain, and just above the highway, overlooking the vast expanse of the ocean in front. We saw whales frolicking in the ocean, just a few hundred metres away. The hotel is a blissful oasis of pale colours, natural materials, phenomenal cotton bedsheets... And it is a pet-friendly place! Everything was just good - the staff, the food, the ambiance. Very arty, neat, modern. I absolutely loved it.

Although we live in the UK, we recently got married at the Twelve Apostles Hotel. The staff at the hotel were all attentive and careful to add a personal touch to our stay. When we arrived we were told that we had been upgraded to a sea facing suite. It was amazing and really made the difference to our stay. We would like to give a special mention to our wedding coordinator Stephanie Hall. We took a very hands off approach to planning our wedding and when we arrived she had thought of everything. Despite having other brides to attend to whilst we were there she managed to make us feel special for our entire stay and not just for the few hours of our wedding day! I had my nails done at the spa the morning of our wedding and they were beautiful (they even fixed the one i managed to ruin 2 hours before the wedding). The restaurant was gorgeous and the sunset form the leopard bar balcony is one to remember!

My Fiance knowing that Camps Bay beach is one of my favourite places in the world, whisked me off to Cape Town for surprise proposal in Feb 2012. We celebrated our engagement at the 12 Apostles which was absolutely amazing. The rooms were amazing, the service fantastic. I couldn't fault it even if I tried. However I have to say what really made it that extra special. Was our celebratory drinks at the Leapord Bar. Our waiter Elton made our night everything and more I could have imagined. We are now looking at holding our Weddig there. And I can say hand on heart that 80% of the choice is to do with the staff in particularly the lovely Elton, and the other 20% the amazing facilities and view. You have top notch staff there and I hope that if we proceed on our Wedding arrangement there, we'll have Elton on hand to make not only our engagment special but our wedding to. 10 out of 10!

I've stayed in many hotels around the world on business and on holiday and the Twelve Apostles is without a doubt the best I've ever stay in. Taken individually the staff, the standard of facilities and the location are all of the absolute highest quality, but put together the hotel is fantastic.
Many thanks for such an enjoyable five days
