“Tiny but Very Nice”
Reviewed February 9, 2014

Positives
- the location. Right next to the beach, close to many restaurants right on the beach, to the hop on hop off city bus tour and to the taxi stop. Felt like safe area.
- the room. Full of light, wide bed, big bathroom, small terrace
- the service. Managed by 2 locals who were very friendly and caring.
- the breakfast. Not the widest variety you have seen but good enough and very nice eggs and coffee
- the garden. Nice little pool with a couple of sun beds to catch up on sun.

Negatives
- as was the case with most of the hotels we visited during our honeymoon, internet connection was not great in the room, at least from our ipad which we didn't really manage to connect to the web

To note
- this is a guest house, not a hotel, hence it's very small (only has 5 rooms, I think) and it's hard to make friends hanging out by the bar, having lunch or dinner because they don't have any of those three. It's a nice room in a good location with a good breakfast and a small garden to hang out.

Room Tip: Think rooms have different prices. Our view was average (faced the back of the building) but with a...

We recently stayed here in the Ocean view suite which had 360 degree views on Table Mtn and ocean. Our room was extremely spacious with large bathroom and private deck. It is located just 2 blocks from the main drag and restaurants of Camps Bay. Florence the manager took great care of us and made sure all of our needs were exceeded. I would definitely recommend.

Two of us stayed in the honeymoon-suite, which is stunning and my daughter and me in the mountainview room, which has a lovely view, a huge, very nice and modern bathroom. The owners are very nice, as our flight was leaving late in the evening we could use a day-room with shower at no extra cost. I would certainly come back!

Room Tip: The honeymoon-suite is very beautiful and spacious, there is a little too much furniture in the moun...

We stayed in the room with a mountain view. The view was fantastic and the room was lovely. The owner is very nice. The breakfast is tasty too and the owner bakes her own muffins which are available daily. The location is super as it is a minute's walk to the restaurants and the beach.

I recently stayed in the Honeymoon Suite from Nov 14-21 and it is a stunning, stunning room (see pictures). It is huge and has a massive balcony with views of Table Mountain, the Atlantic Ocean and Lions's Head. The bathroom is massive and the bed exceedingly comfortable. I cannot speak to the other rooms but this top floor room is truly fantastic.
Florence goes out of her way to make sure you enjoy your stay and helping with any other ad-hoc requests.
The Camps Bay area is quite lively and there is plenty of restaurants and the beach is just a 2 minute walk. (I would recommend the Codfather for dinner if you love seafood!!)
NOW, if you want to visit the more "touristy" area then you are a 10-15 minute cab ride from the V&A Waterfront. We preferred to stay in Camps Bay as it has a more authentic feel and as I said the location is just beautiful.
Breakfast is adequate and they will make your favorite style of egg is upon request. It is a great way to wake up in the morning, walk downstairs and enjoy a nice breakfast.

Overall the villa is in the most perfect Camp's Bay location and I can highly recommend staying here to explore Cape Town.

Room Tip: Book well in advance and get the Honeymoon Suite!!!

My girlfriend and I stayed here for 5 nights a couple of weeks ago. Room was good (although I'd echo previous comments that if you want a view you should request this, our room was on ground floor facing the road), breakfast was good and staff went out of their way to ensure we had a good stay, even doing a washing for us! Great value and very close to all of Camps Bay restaurants and beach.

Room Tip: Ask for an upstairs room.

Vetho Villa is in a perfect spot, peaceful area but still a minute walk from the beach road and all restaurants. The room is big and well furnished, bathroom really big. Simple breakfast does the work for all the adventures of the day. Perfect "base camp" for a lovely stay in Cape. The personnel was most helpful, even calling for places in adventures.
