We stayed at Boutique @ 10 both at the beginning & the end of our holiday along the Garden Route which was our 1st visit to South Africa. Jennifer & David (Beach) are the perfect hosts & couldn't do enough for us - from arranging airport transfers, recommending & booking day trips, securing the best tables in the local restaurants & just generally being like long lost friends. David is also especially good at recommending wines & making breakfast omelettes.
We stayed in the Lions Head suite which is very spacious, extremely comfortable and has the added benefit of an upper balcony (shared with Ocean suite). It was great to wake to the sound of the ocean & see the sun shining down on Camps Bay together with the view to Lions Head & Table mountain to the back. The ambience that J & D have created is just perfect for unwinding & the Boutique is the best anti-dote to the stresses & strains of our long flight & the hustle & bustle of Cape Town. Tash & Tandy looked after as like we were royalty - our room was always immaculately clean & the breakfasts were delicious.
This is a gem of a find and one we would definitely recomend and will go back to on our next visit

The rooms in the boutique are exceptional. The bed is enormous and you can get lost in the bathroom. The reception you get from Jennifer and Beach is wonderful, but the best part of is the great view over Camps Bay. You can watch the ocean from here for days.

We stayed 2 nights at a hotel in Water Front and 4 nights at Boutique@10. Just 15 minutes drive from Water Front, you can enjoy completely different, peaceful atmosphere. You would instantly feel at home when you meet the owner, Jeniffer and Beach-such a friendly and kind couple. We got a lot of help from them where to go and how. Room was spacious, tasteful, very clean and had everything we needed. View from the terrace was magnificent and we had a very pleasant time at the terrace over fine breakfast.

We spent 3 days at Boutique@10. Boutique@10 arranged airport pick up. We were awaited by Owen, who was very friendly and trustworthy. A short drive (20 minutes) brought us to Boutique@10. Although is was late at night, David the owner welcomed us with a glass a wine and a quick tour. Made us feel right at home. And I guess that is the one of the keywords for this guesthouse. Right At Home! Except of course that this home is situated overlooking Camps Bay. And what a view that is! And the good thing is that the view is there from almost anyplace in the house, be it your room, the lounge or the great outdoor terrace. Great breakfast too! Ask Tash to make you her her special omelet! Sunset from the terrace not to be missed either. Best enjoyed with a good glass of wine. We loved it and will definitely go back there.

Room Tip: Lions Suite for spaciousness Ocean suite for a great bathroom with jacuzzi. Both have excellent vi...

Had a wonderful weekend at this beautiful place - much too humbly described as a B&B. After a tough week of business meetings and conference attendance, I spent some down time at Boutique@10. Jennifer and Beach were wonderful hosts, the staff were very attentive and the general ambience was top class. A good testimony for the place was finding that all the other guests I met there came from interesting and far flung places and all had discovered this gem of a place (some on their second or third visit). I will certainly return and next time will bring my family!

We wish we could have stayed longer here. From the moment we arrived and had a large glass of wine pressed into our hands Beach and Jennifer made us feel really welcome. Our room was enormous and the views are fantastic. Beach not only cooked delicious omelettes for us but also gave us very good advice on what to do and where to go when we were in Cape Town. He booked wonderful restaurants for us and organised taxis.

The hosts Dave & Jennifer were just the nicest couple ever, assisting me in making my stay in Cape Town memorable. The views are breath-taking beautiful over looking the whole Campsbay area. Dave makes the best breakfast 'omelet' in town. The room was huge with fresh white linen that made my stay there really awesome and peaceful. Safe and secure accomodation and easy accessible to the beaches as well as Cape Town City. Definately a place I would return to in future - a home away from home.

Room Tip: Ask for the Lion Head room - on the top level over looking part of Table Mountain's Lion Head!

Official Description (provided by the hotel):
Boutique at 10 is unique accommodation located on the edge of Camps Bay's central ravine. We are perfectly centered above Camps Bay Beach, with full view of the white beach sands being swept clean by the blue Atlantic Ocean. All this coupled with uninterrupted panoramic views of the coastal landscape and ocean, from north to south, as far as the eye can see, yet only a 10-15 minute walk down to Camps Bay Beach and its famous restaurant strip.Positioned in the heart of Camps Bay on the Atlantic Seaboard, the Boutique is just a 5 minute drive to the Table Mountain Cable Car Station, 10 minute drive to Cape Town CBD and V&A Waterfront, 20 minutes from Cape Town International Airport and a leisurely and scenic drive to the Cape of Good Hope, the Cape Wine lands and the many beautiful golf courses that the Cape has to offer. The boutique style villa, a blend of Swiss chalet and beach cottage, originally built in 1955 and remodeled 35 years later by its second and current owners, David Beach and Jennifer, features 4 spacious and ocean-facing guest suites. The Boutique features an open and spacious design, which leans towards old school, with a variety of rich woods, french doors, large arched windows, brass wall lamps and the original wrought-iron balustrade which were, with great care, removed from the historical Sea Point President Hotel, that was demolished back in the early '90s.To ensure guests comfort, all suites, which are serviced daily, include 32-40 inch LCD flat screens, complimentary Wi-Fi connectivity, air-conditioning for room climate control, electronic safes, hair dryers, tea and coffee trays and en-suites with shower and/or bath. Three of the guest suites feature beds that can be made into two singles or a king, while the Ocean Suite offers a stylish, king-size wooden sleigh bed, designed and hand crafted by a good friend. All are draped in pure white linen and splashed with colourful hand painted throws, extra length pillows, scatter cushions and are dressed with goose down duvets and flat sheets.Sliding glass doors lead to a large common outdoor balcony for the Ocean and Lions Head Suites on the upper level. The Deck Suite opens up to the main pool deck and the Beach Suite has a private entrance and private garden patio. Both are located on the main level of the house and can accommodate a third single bed upon request.A healthy breakfast of coffee or tea, fresh juice, toast and cereals, eggs, cold meats, cheese, yoghurt and seasonal fruit, is served in the open plan guest lounge which flows onto the main wooden pool deck making a spacious and inviting area in which to eat and lounge. Five large double doors open up from the lounge onto the pool deck to allow nature's beauty, the fresh ocean breeze and the sounds of birds to blend into the essence of pleasure and relaxation which is Boutique at 10.The popular guest lounge, with the original stone wall and rustic fireplace, warms the body on cool evenings ... while a glass of Cape wine warms the soul ...You may just never want to leave ... ... more   less
