“Good for Fish and Seafood”
Reviewed March 30, 2014

We popped in here for a quick meal as we had theatre tickets in Camps Bay..

The service was fast as we had told them we had limited time.

We both chose the "Linefish of the Day" which was Swordfish, a fish we both enjoy.

The portion was a good size and very tasty.
Sides were not great - the salad was mostly lettuce leaves and the chips looked rather "warmed up" If they improved their sides, then it would have got a better rating from us.

But certainly worth a return visit.

“A tad disappointing”
Reviewed March 17, 2014 via mobile

Sadly this experience did not live up to expectation. Firstly I was irritated to arrive, having booked a sea view table, to find our "reserved" table was in the main restaurant despite there being free tables overlooking the ocean; we of course took one of these unreserved tables which were clearly left open in the hope of luring in new customers. I cannot find fault with our waiter who was attentive and friendly with a good sense of humour, AND he took quite good photographs of our little group. As for the food, well it was just about okay. I wanted to order oysters and they had none which was pretty disappointing for a restaurant which specialises in fish and sea food. It was all so underwhelming I can barely remember what we ate, I'm afraid I will not be returning which is a shame as the location is good (having said that there are plenty of other places to try with equally good views)

“One of the best meals in Cape Town”
Reviewed March 7, 2014

I had the oysters (small but solo delicious), the seafood plate, the caramel pudding and a bottle of "Southern Right" white wine. It was spectacular! The service is excellent and the prices are good. A meal I won't forget easily!

“Good service, cheap cocktails.”
Reviewed March 4, 2014 via mobile

A sign saying they serve coctails for 25 rand was what lured me in as I felt like having a refreshing drink after cycling in the sun from the city center and along the coast. Had some muscles as a light lunch with it. Served with creamy sauce and fresh garlic, it was excellent. Friendly and attentive service too, they stopped by at my table a couple of times to ask if all was OK.
