Where the icy Atlantic and warm Indian Oceans meet, dangles the tip of the African continent where Cape Town is set. The city is rich in cultures, languages and landscapes. Cape Town, which is known for the picturesque views from Table Mountain, beautiful beaches of Camp’s Bay, and historical Robben’s Island, is captivating from afar. However, the real beauty is nestled in one of the most exclusive residential stretches of Cape Town’s Atlantic coastline. Located in Central Camps Bay, you will find a boutique hotel unique in style and service.

The Last Word, Sea Five is so much more than a “beach house”. Located 300 meters from Cape Town’s beautiful coastline, the luxury hotel offers it all. The luxury atmosphere is portrayed through a blend of minimalistic décor with a sense of nature in design and furnishings. The natural fabrics and the hand crafted furnishing and accessories give the boutique hotel its own image. The view of the garden pool and intimate bar creates an atmosphere encouraging relaxation and tranquility. In the privacy of each suite, the guest is pampered with stunning views of the surrounding mountains and ocean from a private terrace. The spacious suite outfitted with the finest linens and in suite amenities promises to provide each guest with a peaceful, unforgettable experience. The gracious hospitality and paramount service makes the sophisticated atmosphere feel like a “home away from home”. Beginning with the full breakfast served in the finest style to being greeted at night on your return to the resort, the guest is catered to at every level. The experience is one the guest will never forget.

This beautiful hotel is in the best location: close to the buzz of Camps Bay but far enough to have the tranquility of a romantic gateway. We stayed in the penthouse which is a gem of interior design. The room occupies the entire top floor so we could enjoy a 360° of great view, from the ocean to the mountains. Lynn, the manager, and the rest of the staff were so efficient and kind to us. Everything we asked for, they made their best to please us. The breakfast deserves a special mention: huge choice of fruit, juices and a yummy homemade bread as cherry on the cake of our stay.

Started S African holiday at Sea Five & what a great place to start. Intimate boutique hotel with fantastic manager who catered for every need. Delicious breakfasts, afternoon teas (with lovely cakes) & sundowners, with delicious 'nibbles' all complementary - a nice touch.Very comfortable rooms - would recommend asking for upstairs rooms with seaviews or, if feeling like splashing out, the penthouse suite. Easy walk to restaurant lined beach at Camps Bay.

Room Tip: Ask for rooms at front of house

WOW what a beautiful hotel. Arrived feeling very poorly having been ill on the flight into CPT. Met by Lynn who was very sympathetic to me feeling like death and showed us to our rom quite quickly. We were lucky enough to stay in the Penthouse. 360 degrees views of Table Mountain and the sea. Lynn, Rose, John and the team were so friendly, helpful and cooked up the most delicious brekkies. Nothing was too much trouble and restaurant recommendations were also very good - Grand Cafe, Codfather and one Paranga. First morning we were woken to what we thought were footsteps on the rof. It turned out that it was the Hardy da (spellings?) birds. Lynn said she make a note to tell future guests not to be alarmed by the morning 'wake up' call. This hotel is not for those who don't like steps. There are steps from the garage, the front gate and of course to the rooms. If you are fit then no problems. Wonderful location, not too near the hustle and bussel but near enough to stroll out in the evening for a meal. Didn't feel unsafe at all on our ventures at night onto 'The Strip'

We decided to treat ourselves to a weekend away at the Sea Five and had the most awesome relaxing experience. The view of Camps Bay from our room was stunning. The location is excellent and the beachfront is just a short walk away. The staff were simple superb especially Rose and John.
