A recommendation that didn't disappoint. Often 'measure by fish weight' restaurants will rip customers off. Not here. Clear guidance, opportunities to alter the order which was cooked in the way we both wanted. Good value and sushi starters were equally great. Recommended.

A great idea. You are taken up to a counter by a helpful waiter, told about the fish and shell fish, you choose what you fancy, and then it is cooked for you. Great flavours and a great meal. The restaurant has a real buzz to it with a lively clientele. They also offered a Sushi counter, but we were not into this. Beautiful meal and helpful staff.

We came here as highly recommended but were slightly disappointed.
The fish was good but they charge you by weight and seemed expensive compared to other restaurants we had visited.
The view is not exceptional and the service average.

Without doubt the best display of fish and seafood I have ever seen. My wife and I adore fish and seafood, and have eaten in many of the best of the northern hemispheres seafood restaurants. This restaurant deserves high praise for its pure treatment of exceptional ingredients and a well considered and high quality, excellent value wine list.

You need to make reservations as this place seems to be full at all times. My personal opinion is that the prices are way to high considering this is South Africa and a mediocre restaurant with good, yet not great food. When we got there we were first placed at the bar, as our table was not ready, which is quite hectic (advice on what to wear to this place would be nothing light colored, because you may easily get spilled on). After 15-20 minutes our waitress came to fetch us. She seated us, rapidly explained the non-existing menu, took our drinks order and left. About 15 minutes later she came back, without the drinks and led us to the fish counter where she named the different sea food and stressed our order, of course she left out the prices of each pick and in retrospect I can understand why.

When our orders arrived, our waitress was nowhere to be found. We had to find a different waiter to explain to us what was served and with variety of sauces, which one suited what. On a few occasions our original waitress stopped by to ask us if everything was ok. We had to ask for a water refill five times and the sparkling wine we ordered was only brought to us when we had reminded other staff about it.
